We wouldn't have such detailed understanding of Balinese life if hadn't been on this tour. Cycling through Ubud countryside, we met many cute kids from local primary school and friendly people preparing for the coming ceremony. Ari, our tour guide , offered us comprehensive introduction of Balinese religion, daily life and education. Moreover, it was a great honor to have... More

My wife and I just returned to our hotel after spending the day with the owner of Celebrity Cycling (Made) and with our tour guide (Dogi). We had a wonderful time. Since it is low season, we were the only two on the tour. Made picked us up from our hotel at 7:30am and we got back to our hotel... More

Celebrity Cycling is highly recommended as a peaceful and engaging way to see a part of Ubud. The hosts take you on a well guided tour in the mainly quiet backstreets, laneways and bicycle paths of Ubud, even stopping at a nearby junior school (if interested). The operators picked us up from our Hotel and dropped us back afterwards, so... More

So before you go crazy over which tour company to book, most, if not all, follow the same route from Mt. Batur down. Pricing wise, they are all roughly about the same. So what does it come down to? Service and safety. These guys are wonderful. Very informative. Ride in the front if you want to learn a lot. There... More

Wow, what an amazing way to see Ubud! We had such a fantastic day cycling with Ari and Made. The day began with coffee tasting at a plantation and then a snack with an incredible view of Mount Batur. It was then a short drive to the bikes, which were of very good quality. The ride made its way through... More

I did this bike tour with my husband in February 2015. We had a great time with Wayan (our guide), who had such good local knowledge about the culture, politics, etc- throughout the tour he stopped and explained local landmarks and interesting sights. The day started with a drive towards Kintamani, stoping at a coffee plantation to try various coffees,teas... More

Tour starts with pick-up at hotel, then ride up to coffee plantation and tasting. Afterwards ride up to hills for overview of volcanoes and a snack. Then quickly over to area to pick-up bikes and start ride - almost exclusively downhill (if you can't make the hills they are a short walk up)! Total ride about 25k. Along the way... More

My 3 girlfriends & I thought we'd try the ride for something different. Great decision. We were picked up at our hotel in Legian at 7.30. Taken first to coffee plantation (& yes we did try the 'poo' coffee) then for breakfast at Mt Batur volcano. Beautiful view even on a cloudy day. I recommend you eat something at your... More
