Rai was an excellent guide - very informative, friendly and patient. We were taken on 5 activities and had not expected so much. We really enjoyed our day out with him at the rice terraces, coffee place, waterfall, black sand beach and woodcarving, as well as stopping at the market for trinkets. In between Rai was able to fill us... More

Bali Nature Walk with guide Dewa Rai is just a must-do (!) when in Ubud, Bali or nearby area. By doing this walk you get a chance to see the area still close to Ubud yet definitely away from the tourist crowds, shops and well off the beaten tourist track:) First you walk through a kind of a jungle landscape,... They are not serious tour guides. They confirmed via email my tour for this friday and took another group from Sanur but didn't cancel my tour. I was waiting for them more than one hour. They are not to be relied upon.

From the minute Rai picked us up we were excited and looking forward to the day ahead. in the car on the way he taught us so much about balinese culture and the rituals and practises of balinese people. t was absolutley fascinating. we went to his home for some tea and coffee tasting, he showed us the amazing garden... We were looking for a cooking class. We were told that Bali Nature Walks had a cooking class so we decided to take it. It turned out to be the most outstanding experience we had while we were in Bali. First Dewa picked us up at the hotel and took us to the local market in his village. After the... More

Dewa, one of the two guides, picked me up at the hotel although i was the only guest who had sigend up for that day; it turned out to be really good. The ricefileds around Ubud are beautiful and it is a little bit sad, as there has been so much building of new houses and hotels, some of huge... More

I had a tour on my own as another family dropped-out last minute, driven by Dewa Rai and guided by Dewa Putra. I especially enjoyed the rice-field walk, which lasted about 2 hours, Southeast of Ubud (close to Gianyar/Sukawati), close to the tour-guides' village of origin. The views are stunning, and if you enjoyed the rice-field paths in Ubud but... More

We booked the Bali Nature Tour in our hotel and we can only disagree with the complaints mentioned. Dewa Rai and Dewa Putra are the best guides you can wish. It's a private tour with the best service. Due to a mistake of our hotel, we did not have time for breakfast, but Dewi invited us in his home and... More

As someone mentioned on this site, it seems like every tour is different. We spent 2 hours on the rice paddies going through a lot of mud and bushes. My legs are pretty scraped up from the walk -- so please wear long pants! He didn't warn us in advance, so we wore sandals -- might have appreciated the warning.... More
