If you've seen one rice paddy, you've seen them all. They are all over Bali. Your missing nothing. But. You should still go if it's a part of your tour.

Photographers dream place. Lots of nice angles to take postcard like pictures. The place is very nice. I wish we hiked around but it was raining. If you have time to hike I think it is worth it, bring shoes that can get muddy. The place is not necessarily peaceful, very touristy and tons of people trying to sell you... More

Beautiful terraces lined with strip-mall like stores and restaurants. Not very peaceful or relaxing as there are many stores and people tugging at your purse strings. The image of the farmer walking back and forth with empty work utensils in front of the restaurants asking people to photograph him (for $$ of course) so you could have a real Balinese... More

Yes, this place is not exactly touristy, but the view in itself is worth a million dollars. Have never seen anything as green as the rice terraces. Majestic!

Like all can't miss places in Bali (and elsewhere), you know you'll not be alone! And you'll be requested contribution from some farmers: I think they deserve to complement their income, so half dollar isn't too much. If you want to walk through the paddy fields, start from the bottom, and turn right, in the small valley out to the... More

I loved the beauty of the rice terraces, but row of many vendors and tour vans made it feel very touristy. If organized better, the vendors could be relocated to a nearby locale while the vans should be given a parking area instead of trying to squeeze alongside the already narrow road at the top of the terrace.

Great views. You can take a lot of pictures. If you have a tour guide ask him to please take you down into the rice fields...

A small entrance fee is asked to access the terrace. You will have to take some stairs down to get the bast angle view. Deep green terrace, with lots of palm trees, very typical of what you can see on postcards. I found it to be much more beautiful than the Jatiluwih one. A must-see I have to say, very... More

Beautiful scenery, couldn't be any greener! It't definitely one of the to do things when in Bali, and you can tell why as soon as you see it. You can easily get a cab to drive you there and back to where you're staying from anywhere in Bali reasonably cheap (provided you do all the bargaining first, of course). There's... More

These fields are in a beautiful setting with lots of palm trees. They are not the biggest in Bali, but it would be hard to say any others are prettier. You can walk down from the road in a couple places to get slightly different views. There is a little restaurant right there where you can sit down with a... More
