GO with Banyan Tree Bike Tours - it was an amazing experience. The guide was truly outstanding - knew all about the area, serviceminded and funny:-) He took us on a different route, because we where only two. Try asking for a trip along and in between all the rice fields. We took part in a Indonesian funeral along the... More

We did this cycling trip 6 years ago and on other visits to Bali have tried others just for a change. But Banyan Tree cycling trip certainly stands out as the best. Bagi does a wonderful job of catering for all ages and levels of experience. He was prompt for the pick up and very well educated on many topics... More

Bagi has been running his bike tours for several years. There are "challenging" and "moderate" options, and probably other options if you ask Bagi. The moderate tour starts an hours drive from Ubud & winds its way through paddy fields and small villages on a gradual downhill course (punctuated with some short steep downhill/uphill sections). Bagi is happy to stop... More

My wife and I did this trip Dec 2014 with Banyan Tree and loved it. We contacted them by email and they replied promptly and followed up with a phone call to our hotel room. We are aged 61 and 55 so we were the 'oldies' of the group. We were picked up exactly on time and dropped off at... More

We had a really nice day on this bike tour. Bikes were of good quality (although my seat could have been positioned a bit better...ouch!), and the ride was not difficult for anyone that is of average skill on 2 wheels. Be prepared to sweat though, just because of the humidity.Take water. Stopped at a "tea/herb" garden on the way... More

We had a lovely day with Bagi and his team. The bikes were good, Bagi was a very friendly, interested and knowledgeable guide and the tour was really nice. You see parts of Bali you won't be able to do on your own. We were just with one other couple and Bagi and one of his staff looked well after... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour. Only two couples. We were picked up early from Kuta, stopped at a market place to wait for oter couple being picked up from Ubud. While we waited guide took us through market place and taught us about all the different fruits and vegetables. Then when other couple joined us we headed off for... More

An absolutely incredible day. Incredible insight and access to parts of Bali you just couldn't find anywhere else. The cycling is a good mix of flat rides interspersed with a couple hills. It is somewhat technical in places. The food is some of the best we've had in Bali. For a treat, ask for Gede as your guide - really... More

We were picked up early around 7.30am from our hotel in Seminyak, then travelled around 1 hour to our starting point. Our guide, Gede, was awesome! He had great English and had a great personality, always joking with us and made us laugh all day! The bikes were in excellent condition. Gede rode in the front with my daughter and... More

The tour started off as the staff picked us up from our hotel and shared some stories and culture facts along the way to our starting point. The bike ride itself was beautiful and a memorable experience which I would recommend to anyone up for a little physical activity through the beautiful towns and rice fields.
