This bike tour was the highlight of our trip to Bali. We biked through a rain forest full of fruit trees, rice fields, a traditional village, and past many picturesque temples. We really felt like we got to know the heart of Bali in the countryside. The coffee plantation was just ok. Gede, our guide, did a wonderful job explaining... More

We looked at a number of these tours online whilst staying in Ubud and opted for Banyan Tree as they appeared to offer something a little more adventurous and cycling focused in the form of the 'Bali Challenge Cycling' option. The website states '4 hour ride, 39 km' however our guide told us our tour was 20km (which felt accurate)... More

We booked our bike tour with Banyan Tree having read the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed! We were a family of 4 (kids aged 12 and 15) Picked up on time from our hotel and taken to the pick up point to get the bikes/helmets (all good quality) We had 2 guides with us, our main guide... The tour bus arrived at our villa at the time promised and the guide spoke good English. They took us from Seminyak area to Ubud and allowed us to get out for photos along the way which was great as we met with a very colourful procession out in the countryside. Once we arrived at the bike pick up area... More

Had a spectacular day, i was able to experience so much Balinese culture. We stopped a fair few times at spots to take photos and have the tour guide talk, I was invited to join the Balinese women cutting rice, they taught me how to cut effectively, it was amazing! They catered for a large range of ages, our family... More

Great day out for the family. Kids (aged 9 and 12), teenagers and adults alike had a great time. Grandparents came along in the support van and had a fantastic time too. All were well looked after by helpful and knowledgable guides. Really enjoyed the walk at the end over the bamboo bridge (a little bit scary) to where our... More

Our guide was hilarious and informative. Telling those who were interested all about rice production in bali and how genetic modification is really impacting the farmers. In the other hand he also found a big fat spider and put in his mouth. The bike ride is not 'easy' but there is a 4x4 following behind (not too close to detract... More

Great day out. Quick response to our email request the day before. Pick up from Seminyak on time and Gede ( guide for the day) was very informative ( and funny). Easy ride for anyone of moderate fitness - a few small hills at start but generally downhill all the way. Finishes with a great lunch at owners place. Highly... More

I was looking for a bike tour in Bali and while researching it seemed that every one of the many companies only did short easy tours. so i emailed about a dozen of them to ask for something more interesting and the ONLY one who replied was Bagi. He offered me a private full day tour. Bagi himself took me... More
