We had an excellent morning bike tour going through villages, forest and stopping for some local snacks. The finishing walk through the rice fields was great and all was topped off with a very nice lunch - one of the better meals we had during our whole stay in Indonesia. Guide was both enthusiastic and knowledgeable and overall a highly... More

This is an excellent mountain bike ride for experienced riders. Many companies do the down hill ride from Mt Batur but Banyan Tree's Bali Extreme ride was the only trip I found that offered something for more advanced riders. There are some steep and narrow sections so you need to be reasonably fit and have some off road riding experience.... More

Bagi could not have made this a more perfect family day. Wonderful breakfast, fun cycle tour through beautiful countryside showing us the real Bali. The cycling was easy for the whole family with a few challenging hills. We had one of our favourite meals at his home at the end. Definitely the best pudding! We then did an afternoon of... More

Read some other reviews and they are all correct. Ketut was fantastic and this was a great adventure. Some additional info - on their website they say wear athletic shoes or sandals - some in our group wore sandals and had a hard time trekking through the rice paddies (very slippery when wet). I wore sperries which were also a... More

This is great way to spend a day in Bali, cycling through rice fields and small back road villages. Great lunch - chilli dish was to die for!. Loved the river crossing! Requires a level of fitness as some hills! Thanks for a great day Banyan.

Ketut our guide was very knowledgable and flexible. He tailored the ride to match our fitness and ability. The scenery was spectacular. He took us through the middle of beautiful rice fields, authentic Bali Communities and villages. His home is beautiful and his family are very welcoming. Highly recommend this bike ride.
