Sobek's 25km downhill bike ride on the Kintamani Track was great family fun and not very strenuous, which would suit the non-enthusiast bike rider. Before the tour began, we received morning tea and local snacks with a spectacular view of the Batur Lake and the Volcano. You discover the various scenes and panoramas of this region. Visit villages off the... More

Read the reviews, they will let you know what happens on the ride. I want to to mention that even on a day with 89% humidity and 31 degrees the ride was an enjoyable ride. I would suggest to bring sunblock to protect against sunburn. Nothing more to mention other than we had an awesome day. The guides protected us... More

This is our fourth visit to Bali and we have done cycling on each visit, and we wanted to go on roads we had not seen before. I emailed them a few weeks in advance and we arranged a tour through bamboo forests and away from where we had been before. There were bikes were small enough for me and... More

This is the first time I have ever joined a cycling tour. It was a downhill cycling tour. my GF and I loved it very much and although it is a little bit dangerous to cycle on the road and my GF did fall down on the road, the tour guide immediately takes out a first aid box and did... More

Picked up and returned to hotel. Drove through Ubud, stopped at coffee plantation for tasting. Had lunch at lookout to volcanoes. Began down hill ride through countryside, bamboo forest, local temple and villages. Great start to holiday as feel you learn the culture quickly. Guides were very helpful and we felt safe at all times. The cycling is varied and... More

I did this tour with my sister at the beginning of April, it was absolutely fantastic. Well planned, friendly, informative and we were given choices along the way of whether we wanted to take the easier routes. I don't think we got another experience of rural Bali quite like this one. I would definitely recommend it as a must-do! (And... More

we were picked up from Nusa Dua to get to the starting point for the cycling. this transfer takes in excess of two hours and we stopped and were given a light breakfast after viewing one of the volcanoes on the island. there were two guides for the four people on our tour and so the pace was relatively quick.... We really loved it and enjoyed every second, the view was incredible, the people, site seeing, even food was excellent. The only thing that would need modification is the duration, it was 3 hours but we definitely needed more time to enjoy the incredible view and the cycling itself.

Had an exciting full day with the Bali Countryside Cycling folks. The itinerary is really a value for money as it does not include just 3-4 hours of cycling where you would see the big temples and the outskirts of Ubud, but would also treat your senses with local food and friendly Balinese kids greeting you at every corner. The... More
