good service as they offer free pick up from hotels nearby. The caddies were good too. The re-opened the course for about 5 months and the conditions were really good. The greens were a bit challenging with many breaks. The restaurant and the changing rooms were top notch. on the second day I took a 9-hole lesson with Rob. He... More

Visiting this course with friends and clients many times before it was closed for renovation...start to come again as soon as they open..and find their new "big water and sand" on the back nine..some extra challenge of the game...

This course is over priced at $180 AUD each person. You are not able to take your children out on the course with you under 12. Our 9 year old Boys were looking forward to a ride in the buggy, but were not able too.

Course was in top shape, but I greens could have been cut a bit lower (that's my story, and I'm sticking to it!). Service and caddies were fun! Didn't have time for a second round but would have played again.

The revamped Bali National course is lovely. It's well kept, & has lots of sand and water, which makes for a challenging game. However, it's expensive, & is possibly the slowest game of golf I've played in years. They allowed 170 players on the course, & at one point, there were 5 groups of 4 on one par 4! We... More

The course is in good condition, however 3 of the 4 caddies provided were unfamiliar with the course or even golf etiquette it would seem. The 4th was little better. I would recommend New Kuta, or Nirwana. Both courses have excellent caddies who know the course. The courses fees are cheaper and the outlooks sublime in comparison. BG&CC could be... More

Stayed next door at the Novotel and walked over (it's that close!) to the Bali National Golf Course as it's now known. I knew it wouldn't be cheap ... But US$180 for 18 holes is a bit stiff. Then there's the club hire (another $50) and a tip for the caddy ... It starts to add up to an expensive... More

My first review on TA is to strongly recommend the golf coach in the Bali national golf club - Robert Turvey! The club itself is beautiful and was only reopened lately after renovation, and even some local tour guides are unaware of this. I had three lessons with golf pro Robert Turvey, plus a 9-hole on-the-course training. The training has... More

Recently reopened after major renovations. Now called bali national. This course is beautiful and is in pristine condition. I highly recommend. I did an hour lesson with the pro (Rob) that was excellent....took 5 strokes off my game. Most of the hotels in the area will tell you it is not open......not true. I wish I had learned sooner it... Had 2 rounds at the Bali National Golf club US$105 after 3pm. 1st Round off the blue tees, extremely challenging especially using the Ping (choice of Titleist as well) hire clubs US$50 to hire. 2nd Round off the white tees which was more enjoyable, also has better course knowledge which helped. Front 9 greens were cored on my first round... More
