Beautiful view of the terrace but lots of aggresive vendors, we just stayed long enough to get a picture. More

You have to pay just to drive the road here - and then you get hassled! I am all for local people benefitting from tourism - but you walk along the road. Better to go further North to the coffee plantation - where you can sip Kope Luwak in the shade, overlooking much better terraces. More

You must pay a small fee to be allowed to visit the Rice Terraces at Tegallalang which I felt was a little bit of a rort, but the scenery is amazing. Plenty of eats area selling cheap food and drinks/alcohol and non, heaps of stalls selling Bali souvenirs. Amazing view of the rice fields, you can even walk amongst the... More

This is a must see. Don't come home from Bali and say you missed this. It is breathtakingly beautiful. It is practical, colourful, popular and, to get to it, you pass through some of the real Bali. The Balinese will make a business anywhere, nowhere is this more evident than at the cafe on the edge of the rice terraces.... More

What a fantastic changeup from the beaches. The driver dropped us at an overlook that gave an amazing view of the hillside. Actually there are a number of terraces before and after this location but none as beautiful. There are also a number of nice art and wood shops here with reasonable prices. More

Loved all the rice terraces in Bali. We stopped there briefly for a photo shoot on our way to the woodcarving village. More

We were there when the rice has been recently harvested so there was no rice on the terrace except for water. However, the terrace is still amazing just like those you see in geography textbooks. You will just need about 10-15 mins to take photoshots. There are eateries around for you to enjoy the view longer. More
