The entry cost was next to nothing, but the facilities left a lot to be desired. You use the same change rooms for changing into swim/bath gear as you do for changing into street wear. So the floors are constantly wet. You can't reserve a change room, but you can hire a locker for a nominal fee of 2000 rupiah.... More

... but only if you are staying in Northern Bali (Lovina etc). There's a delightful old-style open-air hot-springs spa in the hills, about 2 hrs drive to the west from Lovina. The atmosphere is authentically rural, slightly sulphurous, far from commercialised, and a relaxing delight as all hot spring baths should be. Some greenery fringing the tiles, slipperiness underfoot, and... More

This was a lovely trip. We coupled it with a tour of the volcano and it worked very well for us. Staff were lovely and helpful and the water was lovely. There were sellers that used very cute children to sell stuff but a firm No THanks took care of that. Overall worth the drive

But if you don't like the green water and a lot of people swimming/bathing together, don't go otherwise it's good place to be, just enjoy the hot spring as local people do. ps: there is a fee for entrance and locker

Leaving in Bali since 9 years, I never heard about a Hot Springs in Kuta. Actually the title mentionned the place which is Banjar, a place near by Lovina, so north of Bali. How comes this end up to be mentionned in Kuta ???

There are three ponds there with warm holy water but no sulfuric smell at all. The ponds are surrounded by beautiful garden. A good way to relax yourself there. Entrance fee is IDR 5,000/person.

amazing garden setting, and many pools to choose from to bathe in the sulfuric spring water. Set close to Lovina in the North of the Island, i suggest to go early in the morning before the tour buses arrive, or late in the evening. Don't go on a sunday or a public holiday
