Being Australian this is always an emotional experience visiting the monument and this was the first time i took my kids (7&4) there. It is a beautifully presented and maintained monument and i am so glad that it seems to have more respect from the locals than the last time i was there (7 years ago).

This is a lovely tribute to those who lost their lives in the Bali bombings and a stark reminder to all travellers that travel can be dangerous even in a place as beautiful as Bali, always be aware of your personal safety and be careful and watch for suspicious behaviour a sad truth in our society's today.

Watching documentaries about this didn't prepare me for exactly how many people (especially Australians) were killed in this tragedy.

I have been to bali a few times now and on each occasion I attend the monument to the victims of the bombings. I have now been there a few times over the last 3 years and the quality of the monument has been great. It is always well maintained and the access is easy, nil fee and it highly... More

The only thing that upset me about this was the small children and adults alike hassling you to buy bracelets and what not here. This is a place... More
