I decided to drop in (back in March) after initially thinking I wouldn't bother doing so that trip however I was very glad I did. They had a Nescafe Dolce Gusto promotional display with many of their flavours including a couple that I have been wanting to try but are impossible to get in Australia, that being the Green Tea... Seriously I am not much of a shopper but I just love this place. It is like a massive Kmart with Harvey Norman, dick smith and Woolworths thrown in. I always start in the electrical section, move through to toys, clothes, toiletries and end at their food section. I stock up on toothbrushes, toothpaste, skin care (look out for products with... Top floor of the Carrefour is the place to get all your shopping done. Fruit and veg, great French quality pastries and bread (a huge croissant for Rp 10,000 or AUD 1!) as well as cheap toiletries (stock up before you leave). They also have a great meat section if you're cooking at home. They also have have clothes, luggage,... More

Very popular with Western Tourists stocking up on their body products. On entering Carrefour the Security guard will put a security tag on your backpack so you cant open it whilst in the store. Everything is sold here at reasonable prices. Store opens daily at 10am, when your done there is a Bluebird Taxi rank on the ground floor just... More

Firstly, I want to make it clear that shopping at the amazing French bakery, which is managed beautifully and designed to please the forever expanding crowds which visit daily is not to be missed....... However, I want to share an experience I had yesterday at the check out of the supermarket. Fortunately for me, a woman ahead in the que... More

If i need something that i can't find in traditional market or small shope close to my house, carrefour is my last destination. It's just too complicated to get one stuff and i have to go to the third floor. Sometimes they have less cashier with so many cashier stations. Most of the time they are slow. The staff lack... this place does not look much from the outside but once you get into there is a different place. I normal visit the Hydra mart but decided to try this place. The place had a great selection of items to choose from. It is worth a visit if want to take home cheap products like body washer etc.

If you need a supermarket fix or just want something that you can't find in the corner convenience stores in Kuta/Legian, the Carrefour's store is well worth a visit. A huge, western-style store that sells just about everything you would find in a combined supermarket/homeware's/wholesale store. They also sell clothing and some makeup ranges. Prices are much better than local... More

I couldn't help but visit carrefour at least twice when we are in Bali. The body lotions are cheap $2 for 200ml bottle. The maybelline liquid foundations are $5 where I pay about $16 back home. We stock up on betadine bandaids (50c per 10pc pack), soaps (40cents), chocolates and koko krunch cereal that is hubby's favorite. Ofcourse we can't... More
