I would probably say that this is the quietest beach we found in Bali which for us was a good thing. It is a beautiful long stretch of sand and only at night does it come alive with lots of seafood restaurants.

Nice beach. Didn't have a chance to eat seafood watching sunset though. The beach is huge and very calm. Not a very busy beach like Kuta

Great beaches, especially if you like to surf. This is also a very nice place for shopping and quality restaurants. Our favorite was the Sundara restaurant in the Four Seasons.

December is not a very clean time though due to the location and the wind direction a lot of garbage flows to this side of Bali. But the beauty and food... More

In the daytime its alive with couples and families and surfers. Good selection of cheap and cheerful loungers to rent at IDR100k per pair. Slight rip, but safe to swim right along the beach, unlike the Kuta side. Near sunset, the seafood restaurant tables come out, the grill fires light up and shroud the beach in nice smelling wood smoke... More

Get a table before 6.00 pm to enjoy the sunset ! The restaurants on the south are more "smoky" than on the norh side.
