After several guides' recommendation to visit the Jimbaran sunset, my newlywed wife and I decided to spend our last evening here. After some heavily congested traffic and construction slowed down traffic, we arrived about 30 minutes before sunset and took a glimpse at a few restaurant menus. Although the seafood prices compare quite well to most western countries, it is... More

Seriously need to clean up their act we searched the entire strip for a restaurant that didnt have a pile of rubish out the front!i wouldn't have eaten here but my partner insisted he was hungry so we finally found a half decent restaurant but the prices were so expensive!!! Not worth the trouble of the seafood people go on... More

Its a small beach with most of the being used by the restaurants guys and at high water beach is hardly visible. Not clean due to lots of restaurant on the beach bank and locals ideally all over the beach in the evening hours.

We visited Jimbaran in June 2014. We were advised to go to the beach for dinner and were greeted by scores of restaurants with almost each offering fresh sea food. The attraction at night were the dances or other shows organised by most of these outlets. Dining on the beach was an experience in itself. The sand is fine and... More

The beach is strewn with garbage..so dissapointing. There is sunset dinners offered all along the beach but if you don't like seafood then you're better off watching the sunset elsewhere.

Apparently, the wet season in Bali is notorious for causing ocean currents that push rubbish up onto beaches on the western side. We visited Jimbaran Bay for a sunset seafood dinner and were greeted with piles of rubbish along the beach and stray dogs wandering around and fighting. I had to tell my children to keep their shoes on and... More

scores of restaurants line the beach, with food prices exceeding those in Bali's 5 star resorts. The view is of the huge pile of garbage that is Jimboran Beach in January (might be like this all year round). Unlike Kuta/Legian, where some effort is made to clean up the garbage, this job is left to isolated beggars/scavengers at Jimboran. They... More

On advice from others we de idea to have dinner at Jimbaran Bay at one of the Seafood establishments on the beach, not really sure why we bothered after considering the experience which I will attempt to sum up in one sentence. A crowded environment on a filthy littered seashore were you are fed grossly overpriced seafood 30 metres away... More

Sure - try the dining on the sand thing - its ok and novelty factor but not cheap. If you want to see something more "real" hold your nose and head down toward the jetty looking toward the runway and you'll find the fresh seafood market plus all the lovely fishing boats. Just hold your nose because that market stinks!... More

Having heard so much about the place we made plans to have a lovely seafood dinner by the beach at Jimbaran Bay. We arrived at the place after a lovely outing at Uluwatu temple. We were greeted by diners trying to lure us in. None of the joints seemed to qualify for modern fine dining restaurants. But that was the... More
