Whilst a visit to the area would not be complete without an evening meal with your toes and feet digging into the sands of the bay whilst enjoying and photographing a magnificent sunset, and we only ate at several of the many restaurants on offer we would like to offer a word of caution. Based on our limited experience we... More

We went as a family of 8 with 2 babies. The setting is iconic at sunset and hence the ambience is what everyone goes for. It was great fun with a live band moving around the tables on the sand. The food I thought was overpriced and not served very well as the table top was crowded and the lighting... More

We thought it was a beautiful place to dine - which it is! However, the conditions of the kitchens is not clean to westernized standards. They prepare food on tables and tbe restrooms were flooded, dining tables dirty and the food just way to expensive. We left as soon as we seen the kitchens conditions.

Just for the experience, we dined here after a visit of Uluwatu temple. The bill was a bit expensive. Good thing the cooking was right and the order came with rice and vegetables. The sound of the waves splashing was soothing and the crowd was mostly foreigners.

Did the seafood dinner on the Jimbaran beach. Seems to be standard set menus across all restaurants. You could go to any. Some offer pickup from your hotel.

We arrived just before sunset, ie: sun disappeared behind clouds.........very disappointing, we picked the wrong day!!! We were dropped at Lampoeng Seafood for dinner on beach. Seafood at Melbourne prices, you pay by the kg, Lobster was $100 per kg!!!! I had 2 x Mojito's (watered down) @$9 each, Paul had 2 x small Bintangs, we shared the following for... More

I wish I had read the reviews for this seafood place. The food was not even edible. We ordered a platter and the only thing that tasted just OK was the fish. The prawns were not fresh and were cooked till rock hard. The mussells were only great because of the sauce. Could not even chew on the Calamari. As... More

We visited this place for dinner. It had rained heavily in the evening so we couldn't sit out in the sand. There are several restaurants serving sea food along the beach. The fish is usually grilled. The fish was not very well seasoned and costed us the same price as it would have in KL. There was a group of... More
