After a long day tour we wanted to relax on thd beach, eat seafood and what we got was indegestion and disappointment. The food we had antisipated was not fresh. All the seafood was plain BBQ with no flavouring. The tables were adorned with aged and torn tablecloths and the drinks nothing to write home about. As we sat on... More

This is the dirtiest beach I've ever seen and I grew up going to Coney Island in Brooklyn . That should tell you something. We couldn't even go in the water due to plastic bags and trash floating all around us. Take a cab to Dreamland beach about 3 miles away for pristine paradise beach and big waves. It cost... More

This even includes whole huge fish heads, fins and other parts that local fisherman just throw onto the sand. That the... More

The sooner Asian countries (and my wife is Thai) learn that we only have one planet to live on the better. When you step outside the resorts the picture is sad especially as you get closer and closer to the fish market! Try Goa in India and so it goes on. Recycling needs to be a high priority for these... Have eaten at the beach many times, is a must do on your list when visiting Bali. A point to note, all the vendors want to get you into their food place, pays to check the menu and what is in stock before committing, I had to leave one place last week as 3 different items ordered off the menu...
