We visited Kedonganan Fish markets (at Jimbaran ) while we were on holidays back in June . I was really impressed- the produce is so fresh. Considering its quite a basic setup . There's no crazy odours and the prices are very reasonable . Everything is kept cold . We bought a couple of kilos of fresh Langoustines ( big... More

"Best lunch in your life" how-to: Step 1, go to Jimbaran fish market and get some damn good jumbo prawns for a very likeable price. Step 2, pay 2$ to get them grilled right at the market (meanwhile, pick a bench and get yourself comfortable) Step 3, enjoy those hot juicy yummy prawns together with fresh coconut milk! The restaurants... More

It was interesting to go through the fish market of jimbaran, but it looks very poor and dirty. You can buy your own fish and take it to one of the local facilities where they will cook it for you for a fair price.

Very fresh seafood which we can choose when they are still alive. Sitting outside by the beach is really nice while we are enjoying the sunset

I always buy fish and other seafood from Kedonganan fish market. It offers you fresh seafood, because it is located by the sea and near fisherman village. Like most of fish market in Indonesia, don't expect this place very clean. It is smelly and not really comfortable, especially if you bring kids with you. But, you will get everything you... More

We visited the fish market around 10am which was already late by local standards. There were a number of stalls selling seafood though. We decided to buy some back to the villa to cook ourselves. Perhaps because we are tourists and don't speak the local language, the prices seem higher than what we have been told by others who had... More

Fresh seafood with great romantic setting at night. Its always fun to indulge in fresh food with your feet in the sand. The restaurants are located right on the beach. The lobster and prawns were excellent.

This was a favourite of mine purely because I love to see the "real life" of places I visit. This is the real deal and not for the faint of heart. The smells hit you first, the trash, the puddles on the floor and then if you're lucky you'll see a couple of rats. I love taking photos and this... More

the seafood is great, the fishing boats come in on Tuesdays, this is the hot tip! day time is a non event and it can be quite oppressive in the heat especially with kids, late afternoon early evening seems to be best. do some research on the best eating spots so that your experience is a great one. At Ganeesha... More

I have been to a number of fish markets and this one has to be the most authentic, right down to the rats scurrying around. Mid afternoon is never a good time to visit a fish market and some of the fish had certainly seen better days. The variety was good however and this would be of real interest to... More
