A review cannot do this experience justice. The food was beyond incredible, our hosts gracious, courteous, helpful and wonderful chefs. The entire experience was beyond belief. We were picked up from our hotel, visited the market place en route to our kitchen, we trekked through rice fields and veggie patches to harvest our own vegetables for the cooking class. We... More

This was an authentic experience of cooking organic food in a traditional Balinese outdoor kitchen. With Nyoman in the lead, we were given an excellent 5 hour journey through a local market, his home, his garden where we picked food for the 7 course meal. We made the meal from scratch with Nyoman and his brother's patient direction. Then we... More

Don't miss this - no other cooking class compares. Such a memorable day, learning new recipes and cooking techniques, visiting the market, experiencing the real countryside. Cero & his family have created something simple and wonderful.

This was by far the highlight of all of our experiences in Bali. I had gone to Bali with a group of friends for Christmas and we were fortunate enough to booked in this class on Christmas Eve. It was such a wonderful experience and the people were so lovely that we considered it our early Christmas. The food was... More

Nyoman and his brother created a concept which plunges you deep into several aspects of authentic and untouched Balinese culture and gastronomy. One of the three highlights of our trip to Bali, this was one of the best spent day of our vacation. We arrived in the hotel with a feeling of having left a little piece of paradise (the... More

Pickup in Ubud and a trip to the local marked were included in this fantastic cooking class. This cooking school is outstanding from the others because you harvest the veggies in field yourself and the scenery were you cook is above a beautiful rice field. The host is very friendly and the food is delicious!

This was amazing! Best food we had for the whole trip. We learnt how to make about 5-6 dishes, all using traditional methods and a fire stove. After visiting a locals market we picked the vegetables and learnt about the flavours and it was such a food education! Any foodie will love this. Me and my family had the whole... More

When visiting other countries I think it is really important to get away from the tourist bubble and get to know what a country is really about. With this tour we did just that... Not only did we learn how to prepare many delicious Balinese dishes but we also learned a lot about the culture. We were given a glimpse... More

We shared a great moment with all the family. Not only a very instructive cooking class (very nice things cooked) but also a cultural discovery: traditional market with the chief, walking in the ricefields of the family, cooking and eating great and various recipes. Typical, not touristic, in a quiet place: we really enjoyed it!

Just returned from the cooking classes which is definitely in my top 3 things I have done since arriving in Bali! Authentic, friendly with delicious food, topped off with a breathtaking view of the rice paddies fields, with the extra luck of actualy being taken through them! The host is a lovely man who takes you to the market, talks... More
