This tour had so much more to offer than doing a class in the kitchen of a commercial restaurant. We had an excellent day the day before yesterday, not least the enthusiastic chook keeping and gardening discussion between my husband and the owner. The tour, small band of lady helpers and venue were charming (and a good loo at the... More

We visited Green Kitchen a couple of years ago and did the Vegetarian class, as our son was freshly turned vegetarian. We are adventurous cooks at home and were able to cook all of the recipes on our return to Perth - where all of the produce used is available fresh or frozen in asian food stores. We thoroughly enjoyed... More

The class gave us an extensive insite into the culture and Balinese food. If your into healthy food and want the whole experience then the man that runs this class will not disappoint you. Such a friendly and raw environment.

We recently took a class there and it was simply brilliant! The pick up, the visit to the market, picking up our ingredients at the farm and cooking, everything was amazing plus everybody was helpful, nice, welcoming and overall made our experience a great one! We definitely reccommend this, it is A MUST!

Today we did the vegetarian cooking class. It was a wonderful experience which started at 8.00 o clock in the morning with a pick up from sanur. After 45 minutes drive we arrived at the local market where we did some shopping for the cooking lesson. It was nice to see since you see the authentic part of bali! Not... More

My friend and I spent the day with the brother of the founder of Green Kitchen. We loved every minute of the experience--a totally authentic way to experience Bali & great way to learn more about the local dishes! It's not your standard restaurant cooking class--we went into an authentic marketplace, to his home, into the rice fields (outfitted with... More

What a great day it was, there were 2 of us doing the cooking school and were blown away by the food selection (non-vegetarian). Kakul the gentleman which took us through firstly the a local market whilst pointing out the local culture (religious) and also buying unusual fruits for us to try. He then took us through his paddy field... More

We had the best time at the Green Kitchen Cooking class. There were four of us total and we did the vegetarian menu. All of the food was delicious and the class was really informative. We learned how to make coconut milk and picked vegetables from the garden to cook with, including peanuts, adzuki beans and Balinese eggplants. The Klungkung... More

Really friendly guy showed us around local market in a more quiet area of Bali, saw only local people selling and buying produice! Really friendly & relaxed atmosphere, would be happy to go shopping there every day for a good batch of fresh fruit & veggies instead of the busy Ubud central market. After the market we picked our produce... More

Booked in after reading review on here. Only two of us. Got picked up at 7:30 am from our Hotel in Nusa Dua. Was driven for about 1.5 hrs. Was taken to a local market, which was a little bit intimidating but an eye opener on local culture. Then was taken for a walk through the rice fields where we... More
