One of the best stage productions I have seen in a long time! A Highlight was definitely the introductory parade of the entire cast including all of the animals. I've lived in Indonesia for many years and have seen many performances, but this one is the best I have seen. So many actors in beautiful costumes, great props, lighting and effects, and all in the largest indoor theater in Southeast Asia. You must go!

This theatre is breathtakingly beautiful. The Bali Agung show is a must-see. It's one of the highlights of my entire trip. The acting, the costumes, everything is incredible. Why would anybody turn down a break from the hot, hot sun and the humid air to watch a beautiful show in an air-conditioned room?

Bali Agung - a show in the Bali Theatre was a highlight of our visit to Bali. The show tells a traditional Balinese tale using live animals including elephants, birds, a tiger, cheetah and ducks interspersed with Balinese dancing, shadow puppetry, gamelan music, western music and very colourful and dramatically designed sets and props. Bali Agung has a cast of over 100 local... More
