Is was a good night, but the animals are still stuck in old enclosures from days gone by.(1960's) They are spending money on a water park instead of new animal enclosure's. Trying to complete with Bali Safari

Bali Zoo was the highlight of my trip to Bali, I loved the place. We ate in the restaurant and were given a number tag, I wondered what it was for and soon realized that it was for the animal encounters while ate. We got photos with a bear cat and a baby gibbon ... so cute! You can then... More

First I thought that my kids (2, 3, and 5 years) won't be so excited especially after visiting Bali Safari and Marine park and doing all the activities there including the elephant rides. However, I was wrong. They loved feeding the lion, the tiger, crocodile, dears and elephant. They also loved taking photos with eagle, snake, baby crocodile and few... More

This zoo has European prices so for indo measures it just expensive. It is relatively small and the few animals living there live in small cages.

The zoo is not big, so dont imagine you will see huge variant of animals. Yet it is clean and have good pave for walking... More

I was a bit apprehensive about visiting here after reading some of the negative views...but, the kids desperately wanted to ride an elephant and it was much closer to ubud than the safari park. It was great! I didn't think the conditions were remarkably different to other zoos. So, don't go here if you don't like zoos but other than... More

The entrance fee of USD26 is quite expensive considering you can tour the zoo in under 2-hours. There is the elephant ride but you have to pay USD70 for a half-hour trek!
