This zoo is jam packed with endangered species mostly from Indonesia, i don't think I have ever been to a zoo like that. Quite small, but, with a breeding programme. We had breakfast (just myself and my husband) with 2 elephants - not an experience you get every day. Worth every penny.

This Zoo is designed to extract maximum amount of $$$ out of the tourist. Entry cost for family of 4 is US $ 100, Photos cost $16 , Elephant rides $50 ( 70 metre ride), hand feeding animals incurs additional cost, the charges don't stop. The flora is interesting, but the Zoo itself looks a little tired, not many animals... More

We arrived early (9:30am) and went straight in, the cues when we left at about 11:30 were really long, so would recommend early arrival. There were lots of animals, but lots of opportunities to pay extra to feed them or have you photo with an animal....didn't sit well with me but I guess it helps with the upkeep. I am... More

We went on the only night it rained during our stay which "dampened our spirits". We walked down the elephant riding track to hand feed the elephants then back up to hold some animals and have a bit of a show with them. Then we walked around the zoo in the dark which was good because all the animals were... More

Spent a great morning with the family at the zoo. It is not huge an easy to walk all around and the grounds are fantastic, amongst a huge variety of vegetation, very clean and well kept. The variety of animals available is not great but more than enough to keep the kids entertained. The highlight was the adult male orangutan... More

For starters getting to the Zoo was not easy by motorbike. It was a good thing I had a partner to help navagate to find the Zoo then there was maybe 20/25 people standing i line to buy tickets and we waited for over 35 min just to get to the window. Then it was very difficult in getting the... More

Our kids absolutely loved this zoo because it's really interactive. There are masses of opportunities to hold animals, and you can do things like feed chicken to the tigers. The cages were a bit small, though clean and well kept. We had been to the elephant sanctuary already so didn't do the elephant riding here, but it looked quite good.... More

Nice way to walk around and see the animals. The cages are clean albeit small. There are plenty of photo opportunities with animals used to being handled.

We visited Bali zoo for the first time because our driver suggestion. We bought ticket at counter but the staff was not nice with loud voice. The service was bad, we wanted to rent wheelchair for my grandma but the staff just show the wheelchair and didnt say anything. Unfortunately the wheelchair was broken and we still used it because...
