Worth a day out to just get away from the bustle of Kuta/Legian.Buy tickets at the entry rather than a package deal, somewhat cheaper.a good number of animals, birds etc.Interaction is allowed for a lot of them and photos with your camera is ok.Food is average as is the price.Well planned and laid out.The animals seem happy and well cared for.been here... I thought this would be a small uninteresting zoo. However, when I came in, I was quite surprised with the design and layout of the zoo, the environment, the number of animals and attractions and the quality of the animals. The animals look healthy and well taken care. And what I love is the Wana Restaurant Lounge Bar in which... More

We had a great day at Bali Zoo with the kids. There was lots to see and plenty of opportunity to interact with the animals. It was reasonably priced and it wasn't too crowed which was nice.

We decided to go to the Zoo as we heard it wasn't so crowded an my teens wanted to go on an Elephant ride whilst in Bali. The Zoo itself was pretty basic more suited to smaller children we thought. however it was clean, the animals seem to be well cared for it was a pleasant walk an nice surroundings.... More

We visited the Bali Zoo for 'Night at the Zoo'. We were picked up and returned to our hotel. On arrival at the zoo we received a welcome drink and snack. We were taken to feed the elephants then went back to where dinner was going to be served and ordered drinks while we waited to have photos taken holding... More

We had a great day at the zoo. lots of animals and the zoo is nicely decorated. Quite a lot of the smaller animals are outside the cages. for example monkeys, you can pet them and take a picture with them. Also the elephants are a very nice experience. We didn't ride them, but just feeding them is already a... More

Amazing zoo. The zoo offers a lot of interaction with the animals. For a small fee of Rp 50.000 (Around €3,-) it was possible to feed the elephants. Touching was for free. Next to the elephants, it was possible to hold some birds, apes, snakes and other animals. There was also a bird show, which was really nice. The zoo... More

We had a great time at the zoo. Loved the range of animals and how close you can get to them, through interactions and animal encounters. Small zoo, would be a mid afternoon finish (its way too hot by then also).

Went for the "elephant ride" and were sadly horrified. We spent $70+ USD and after eating a disgusting and overprice meal at the Elephant View Resturaunt, we decided to forgo our ride and sacrifice the money we spent due to the fact that our group, (3 of us, myself, boyfriend and bestfriend, 30yrs old) were all brought to tears as...
