The square around the monument is already a nice place to visit. Many locals who come here for jogging, football, basketball or just to relax. The monument is build in a beautiful style, with dark stones, fountains, and flowers. Inside are galleries which display the Dutch occupation. You can climb all the way to the top where you have a... The park is a park. The monument at the centre is a museum of the Balinese resistance to Dutch occupation, and far more worth a visit than the dusty and poorly-documented collection at Negeri Propinsi. The monument itself is beautifully done in the style of the local historic palaces, with heavily detailed terraces, water fountains and bright flowers. Inside you'll... More

This park is popular with locals in the mornings and afternoons for walking, footbal, basketball and volleyball. The reason I think it is good though is the 'Museum' in the middle which is really cheap and shows the history of Bali and Indonesia. Not many tourists go here but to see the real story of Indonesia it is a perfect... More

An interesting monument/museum set in beautiful grounds with fish ponds surrounded by a shady park. Inside is a great observation point to overlook the city and to view the diorama telling the history of Bali. Worth a visit.

There is also daily morning yoga that public visitor can join, one is free and the other is with a small fee. On weekends, family with young kids, teenagers mostly occupy this... More

I love the big space. It's really breezy on the museum, but really hot on the outside. The field is really big. It's really green. You can play soccer there, because there are people who sells plastic soccer ball. And sometimes, there will be a Hindist ceremony.

Good information about the history of Bali, although the dioramas are aged but overall it is informative.
