Visitors like me are naturally surprised to find the extremely rich collection of brilliant art works depicting the social traditions of West Bengal in Gurusaday Museum in Kolkata.
Located about 15 km from Kolkata proper it was established in 1961 by the then Chief Minister Dr. Bidhan Chandra Ray and was opened as a public gallery in 1963.
