The mosque and the Janambhumi side by side. A well maintained clean complex with very tight security at the entrance for obvious reasons though the security personnel are not a harrasement,... More

This is the place where Lord Krishna was born in the Karagah of Kansa. The stone on which he was born is still there. There are also numerous small mandir of deities within the complex. This mandir is surprisingly extremely clean from inside and things are very organized. However, we indians always find ways to dirty anything by throwing leftovers... More

It is the place where lord Krishna was believed to be born...the rock on which he was born is still there...considering the time it was constructed makes it quite splendid...you feel an unknown connection with the place...going just before holi can be the best experience but only when you can walk long distances and not accompanying small kids...

Negatives: there is no govt authorised parking place but you will get private parking space at Rs 40/- Positives: Very clean. No commercialization and no looting or religious blackmails by pandits. Well maintained. Efficient and effective security. Availability of lift. Eatable shops are reasonably priced

Surprisingly clean. Shoe stalls inside. Mobiles not allowed. Buy the famous pedas. Also try lassi and rabdi in one of the stalls in the temple complex. Beware of monkeys. Dress conservatively.

Nice temple of Lord Kishna. Impressed by security measures. Mobiles not allowed inside but arrangement available outside for mobile deposit. Best part is this is the first major temple where i din't find beggars. During our visit, police training session was going on and was really inspired by their plans of actions & arrangements. Hats off to those people. Nice... More

Birthplace of Sri Krishna. Well demarcated to inform visitors where to go. Beautiful mandir. Lots of well priced stalls selling Krishna trinkets. Near the exit is a tunnel for viewing for just 1 rupee, very pretty sculptures and artwork.
