Although the full round of Rajaji National Park takes approx. 3-3.5 hours, we could only spare 1.5-2 hours. We decided to risk it and are glad that we did. Despite the short span of time we spotted lots of deers, elephants, a hyena, a wild boar, peacocks and even a leopard. The majestic cat parked itself next to our jeep... More

Mohan arranged a 1/2 day private jeep safari for us at Rajaji in short notice. We just dropped by his office the day prior. The guide provided at the Park was very knowledgeable about the fauna and flora and fluent in English.

Being in Mumbai for so long I always find myself away and disconnected from Nature, jungle, trees and of course inhabitants. Recent visit to Rajaji National Park at Rishikesh brought me closer to all this. We were group of 32, each one reached there with expectation of sighting of leopards, tigers, tuskers and of course large animals. RNP can be... More

We had an open top jeep safari and saw many chital and sambar deer. We unfortunately didn't see any elephants but that was due to there having been plenty of rain recently. You are usually taken to the watering holes to see them but as they had no need of the watering holes we missed out. We enjoyed the stop... More

Three of us went for an afternoon safari starting at 3pm. We had our own jeep, and the cost of the whole adventure came to Rs3,400. We were able to book the day before through our hotel in Haridwar. The landscape was beautiful and we saw six elephants (around 50m away at the closest), spotted deer, sambar, peacocks, parakeets, an... More

We were at Chilla range of Rajaji which is a beautifully maintained habitat for the wild life. There is a vast variety of birds; It's famous for we were not lucky to spot a single leopard or a tiger; elephants could be spotted at a great distance. There were ample dotted deer and sambar deer. The saving grace for us... More

During our Haridwar trip, we visited this place from Chilla Gate (around 9 km from Haridwar). We had visited on 18th November, 2012 evening. We was late for the trip, reach there by 3.20 pm so return back from Jeep safari early in 2 hrs. We had seen deer only. It takes around 3 to 3.5 hrs to make a... More
