One of the famous place to witness, you will highly appreciate the British architecture , see it both at the daytime and in the evening time, if permitted go upto 2nd floor and see the Library , how beautifully and systemically everything has been maintained, see the building from inside and you will love it.

1. This is the main part of the building, 'The Constantia'. It was never known as Constantia House. Having spent 12 years in this place 'My School', I can state this with authority. 2. This was built as the residency of Major General Claude Martin at Lucknow between 1776 - 1800. At present a School since it was founded in... More

It is very FRENCH in its design made by the French general.it is big and a must see as French architecture in this part is very uncommon.Nearby is river gomti who makes it more picturesque. It is not well maintained like all the historic monuments of Lucknow and has witnessed some BOLLYWOOD SHOOTINGS.

La Martiniere Boys' College also mentioned as 'Constantia' is one of the best French architecture in India made by the famous French General Claude Martin. Many films like 'Gadar' and 'Always Kabhi Kabhi' were shot here. It is also the only school in the world to have won battle honors.
