After the big is beautiful show-offyness of the Taj Mahal, the Itimad-Ud-Daulah, is much less overwhelming, much less popular, but oh so much more pretty. The patterns are more intricate. The parks are more peaceful. If I had a hot date in Agra, this is definitely where I would take her. And like everywhere else in India, there are monkeys... more

We were here after visiting Agra Fort. Actually I was quite disappointed once I was at the entrance. It didn't really worth the time if you are here for a short trip. Entrance fees is Rs 110 per person and kids are free. The nick name - 'Baby Taj' really fit the bill but minus the 'historical' feel. No wonder... more
