What a place! Big ramparts, magnificent large gates for elephants with their riders to march through. Court intrigue. The man needing this Taj Mahal lived here. Quite interesting to piece some of the history together. Many rooms. The harem rooms that the women could see out of and men couldn't see in of.

This is interesting to know how the mughal emperors lived, as much as their families. Interesting for checking Shah Jahan's palace and working place. Interesting to know a bit of Shah Jahan's life. Interesting to know about the persian culture.
Less of a palace and more of a true fort. Must visit. The true seat of Mughal Empire during Akbar's rule.
There was a fair amount of fog the day we went to visit the Fort but we were there long enough that it cleared and we were able to appreciate the amazing site. The fort has a tremendous history and a tour guide is recommended.
Amazing place with incredible architecture. Make sure to get a guide as there are facts about the Fort you won't find in Guide books.
Very good architecture, takes around 2 hrs to view whole fort. CLOSED ON FRYDAY. it's just 10min derive. We hired a prepaid cab for 8hrs at just Rs.850 (non-ac cab for 4) from agra Cantt Station.
