As is with all moghul era monuments, this is also a fort of prime historical importance and value of muhal period. Visiting this fort is key component of Agra city tour. Enjoy the magnificent view from the fort .

Beautiful place and you may see local working women with large bundles of things on their heads. Great for photos.

From many parts of the fort there are spectacular views of the Taj Mahal.... More

Beautiful beautiful place- loved our tour of the fort and all the riche history it had to offer. India is of course replete with forts, but this one was particularly lovely.

The details of the architecture made this very interesting. The views from the top were wonderful. It was from here that I first got a glimpse of the Taj Mahal in the distance looking very mysterious.

You can see the Taj from several vantage points of the Fort, and hearing stories about the history of the place from our guide made this far more interesting than if I was just wandering around on my own.
