It is nice enough in architectural beauty but roaming around a place and watching out corners and corners of a building cannot be a good way to spend your time at this attraction. Sure the place is a complex with a lot much to see but with a proper guide and information the place is a hidden gem with lots... More

Its a small fort especially after you have seen the Ajmer fort, this might seem more like a scaled down version. The best part is the view of the Taj mahal from the Terrace of the fort, The Tajmahal creates an illusion when seen from the fort. It looks small when viewed more closer and looks big when viewed farther... More

So much to learn here. Again we were lucky with our guide who didn't rush us or try to flog us extra stuff. Recommended.

Having a guide helped the Fort to come alive - otherwise it might have been interesting from an architectural viewpoint but that'd be all. The guide (as others have said) told a few stories about those who lived there and it made it more interesting. Very busy. Allow an hour.

Very impressive building....over large area. We were lucky as we had a guide with us who could tell us it's history. Make sure you see the Taj Mahal across the river.

The sound and light show is almost as amazing as the one in Gwalior. Don't forget the mosquito repellent because there are many trying to bite you. Be careful with the hawkers outside. Put your wallet in the front bag of your pant

Actually you require to have a full day to visit this place. It would be nice if you could gather some information before coming to fort because its huge. Its sad that these days we cant see everything lots of important places are for VVIPS to see only.

A fantastically preserved fort steeped in history. Have a guide to show you around and tell you the stories connected to this place or you will miss out on some incredible history. Beautiful views of the Taj Mahal from different angles and some amazing photographic opportunities. Just soak up the atmosphere and enjoy.

Since this fort is where Shah Jahan was held prisoner by his son following his construction of the Taj Mahal it is an important piece of the Mughal empire storyline. It is incredible to see the transformation of the fort as the years passed and each emperor added his unique design imprint to the impressive structure. You will not be... More
