It was a dream for me to take my daughter to see this. She was as mesmerised as me. This was the 7th time I was visiting this monument of love.

One of the best and memorable moments of my life - a must see in ones lifetime! I could spend days here. After seeing a few wonders of the world and felt disappointed - The Taj Mahal is definitely not a disappointment. I hope I see it again one day!

Having been born in Jubbulpore, India, I had always wanted to go back there, so in October 2014we went on a tour with Newmarket Holidays to India. One of the highlights was the Taj Mahal and what a spectacular sight it was, it looked as if it had just been built as it was so white. Our tour guide, Adial... More

An iconic tourist destination but a must. From arriving and taking the bus to the site you are full of anticipation of that first sight of the Taj Mahal. On the way you are hassled by a variety of Indians wishing to sell souvenirs but they are not too pushy if you are not interested. As you go through the... More

It's a dream came true to have been able to witness one of the most beautiful architectures and also the story behind it. Taj Mahal is one of the most amazing things i've seen in my entire life. The testament of Shah Jahan devotion to his wife Mumtaz Mahal, this white marble mausoleum adorned with beautiful ornaments and intricate details.... More

We visited India on a 7 day tour. The tour arrived in Agra with us all having a free afternoon, which we thought was a waste. So we spoke to another couple with the plan to go to the Taj Mahal on our own, even though we would be visiting the next day. It turned out to be one of my better... More

Visited with family in February 2014. It worth visiting once. We enjoyed the visit and it was "Wah Taj" moment. But it is very crowded. It would have been in better share if it was maintained well. Yamuna river behind the monument was not clean and it was almost dry.

I went at sunrise which I think is an ideal time to go. Not to crowded and the view is spectacular. It is a wonder of the world for a reason, it was absolutely breathtaking. My husband had to be like, are you okay when I kept staring open mouthed. I love the architecture, the intricacy and the delicacy of... More

My family and I were looking forward to seeing the iconic architecture of the Taj Mahal and having endured a 2 hour journey from New Delhi on India's joke road network we finally arrived. Once we were outside the Taj we were told footwear had to be removed and walking barefoot over scorching hot marble because there was no matting... More

A wonderful sight. Only thing that could have made it better would have been a little less smog and people. ;)
