This being one of the 7 wonders of the world has been on my bucket list. It is simply aweinspiring. It displays the love of a man has for his wife. This is a proud display of the craftsmanship of yonder years which we are told still preserved till this day. It stands majestically in the midst of the well... More

They say seeing is believing, but if i were to go by my instincts , i for one still cannot comprehend or come to terms with the fact as to why this was called the wonder of the world. It certainly is a brilliant architecture but it just does not go beyond that point of impression. I was more impressed... More

Your first glimpse of this beautiful building will literally take your breath away. Make sure you walk the perimeters and take pictures through the trees. The grounds around the Taj are gorgeous and people watching is another great experience.

We had a great guide who was very knowledgeable. However, did the usual thing of rushing us at the end to get us to the retail opportunity he had set up with his mates. Always annoying.

Much like Masa Picchu and Angor Wat your first view takes your breath away. Your anticipation is fully realized with just one look. The compelling story behind the Taj just adds to the experience. It certainly now will be easier to "die" after having seen the Taj. A must on the bucket list.

This stunning memorial will live forever in the memory. We rose early in order to see the sun rise over the Taj and I must say it exceeded all our expectations. The queue to get in was long, longer for ladies due to security checks being carried out behind a screen, but it was so worth the wait. We'd been... More

Going to the Taj Mahal has been on our bucket list for a while now and it didn't disappoint. When a building is so photographed sometimes the reality of seeing it can be a let down - not here! Arrived around 4pm - loads of tourists milling around - mainly Indians en famille but by 6 / 6.30pm it was... More
