Its the Taj Mahal, need I say more? Ask your hotel to fix up your visit as the Taj tends to be a bit of a madhouse.

Get there early at sunrise before the crowds arrive. Great place - with monkeys and birds to keep you entertained if your not enthral led by the Taj - which you will be

The Taj is really one of the world wonders yo have to see once your near by. Really an impressive building and surrounding. But my advise is get into the town and get out. ps. beware that there are two different train stations in town...it's easier if you got it right the first time;-))

Enter from south gate for lesser crowd and quicker entry, avoid getting fooled by guides they charge too much, try bargaining even if they show you there fake id

Its truly a Marvel... I have given the Taj Mahal top rank, but only for the monument. Unfortunately the arrangements to reach are really struggle-domain. from entry point, negotiating with electric-rickshaws... then standing 20-30 min queue to buy the enrty tickets.. then negotiating with guides... poor security checks... overall Painful experience! moreover exit is surrounded by slums & hawkers.. Definitely should be passed as part of the wonders of the world. From my point of view, is perfect. Breathtaking. It is best to visit at sunrise, when the color change from red marble in dazzling white. It's a great show. Entry fee is modest Definitely worth you get a guide

I came here by myself in 2012 on a day - trip from Delhi. I was advised not to stay in Agra to see the Taj as it is really rough and to be honest I can see what they mean. The Taj is absolutely astounding, i got a guide who spoke fantastic English to take me around and tell... More

It was a beautiful morning. And an awesome tour. I would recommend getting a tour guide, it help with the history and appreciating the place. Also try the camel cart ride nice change. The guide rates are negotiable even though they will show you an official looking pass. Only disappointment cost 750 rupees just because am an NRI.
