Really a sight too see, but beware you are not alone lots of people flock here everyday. If its a hot day bring lots of water, the sun off the white marble can be intense.

This has to be a must see for anyone in Agra (or even in New Delhi as the new highway makes this visit an easy day trip). We visited this early in the morning, whereas last time I did the experience around noon (very busy), and the temperature was perfect and the crowds low - bit still prevalent. Our visit... More

Okay, so it's perhaps the most photographed building in the world. But being there is something else altogether. Yes, it's almost always hot, and yes, you may have to queue for ages, and yes the tile might burn your feet a little when you take off your shoes, but it all fades away on the first glimpse of this beauty... There wasnt too much of a crowd, and the sky was beautifully clear. It was not too hot. Make sure you are dressed respectfully or you will not be allowed inside. When we bought... More

Unfortunately we couldnt have chosen a worse day to go as it was one of Indias foggiest so we couldnt see the Taj for an hour or so, however it was amazing when we could see it and the locals were extremely friendly wanting photos and everything, would love to go again on a clearer day :)

Taj Mahal is a beautiful building with striking architecture. The best time to visit the taj is in the late afternoon, when the humidity level is less but it is very crowded at that time. Always remember to carry water with you as there are no stores inside the Taj premises. Overall, a nice place to stroll and enjoy the... More

Everything you dream about! The history is so BIG. It is a beautiful building. The mastery of the stonework is unbelievable. The intricate work is spectacular. A must see.
