Incredible place with interesting history. It takes about 4 hours from Delhi to get here, but it is worth it.

We visited the Taj Mahal on my birthday. It doesn't disappoint, magnificent piece of architecture. I would say to get the best experience, get there when the gates open and take a guide. When you walk down the road to get your tickets, its the usual touts/ beggers trying to sell stuff, ignore them. Once in, we were left alone... More

The Taj Mahal is an amazing monument and no words can sum up its beauty, go at sunrise on a clear day and see this spectacular sepulcher of human acheivement, a mans love and beauty. No photo or videa could ever do it justice.

The best time to visit Taj Mahal is during winter. (The sun makes the marble really hot and it becomes a bad experience.) Even if you are planning to visit in the hotter months you can choose to visit it very first in the morning. The atmosphere is soothing and you would not even have to wait in long lines.... More

I had a life long dream to go to India, with of course a visit to the Taj Mahal, and finally earlier this year, I was able to go thanks to Gate 1. For a very reasonable price, I got to see not only Rajasthan (most particularly Jaipur and Agra) but also Nepal, a magnificent country that has been very... More

This is one of the most romantic and beautiful places that I have ever visited. It is generally a very busy and popular sites so get there early. An evening meal on the rooftop of one of the local restaurants directly opposite the Taj Mahal is romantic and shows the building in a different colour from that seen during the day... More

Taj Mahal- A symbol of Love... The artistic work done in the form of sculpture is amazing... All the stones used are pure marble. Nowadays, some part of the monument is getting yellowish shade because of the pollution. but still its not losing its beauty...

I have visited Taj during daytime earlier, and since few friends really wanted to see it in full moon, which happens only for 5 days in a month (2 days prior to full moon, on full moon day, and 2 days after full moon) I thought to give it a try. I made a trip on 3rd May with group... More

We had a 5 hour drive from Delhi until we reached Agra, but when I saw the Taj Mahal I forgot about that and I was speechless, just standing in front of it gave me goosebumps. A must see .
