Went early, which gave us time to wander and ponder. It very misty so the pearl-like Taj appeared like an dream-like apparition. It was stunning. I've been there several times before and it's beauty never fails to impress. A guide popped up who knew all the best camera spots but did not intrude.

You travel to Agra and when you arrive you wonder if you are in the right city because the place is a dump! There is a lot of filth in India but Agra definitely has more than its fair share. However, when you drive round to the Taj Mahal the excitement of seeing the place in real life carries you... More

It took a while to get there by limo from New Delhi, we got stuck behind several camels with gargantuan loads of straw. On arrival we navigated through the beggars and sellers and entered the complex. From here on there is not much sense in trying to describe the experience. If you are in this part of India you must... More

Taj Mahal was built about 400 years ago, but it still looked very nice as if built only a few years ago. The story behind it is also beautiful. Mumtaj, Emperor Shah Jahan's wife, asked him for a memorable place for her. Shah Jahan put all his resources to work. This is a result of over two decades of hard... More

Of course, this was one of the main reasons for our visit to India and it does not disappoint. Sadly, our tour guide was catching our vibe and ruined the experience a bit. We wanted to just take it in for a moment and he was ready to dump all the historical knowledge he held, it drained a bit from... More

Taj Mahal is fabulous, but the environment is too bad. Unhygienic surroundings, Crowed & unruly traffic, Traffic Police only found on the Islands, not controlling on the crowded areas.

Rabindranath Tagore described it as 'a teardrop on the cheek of eternity', Rudyard Kipling as 'the embodiment of all things pure', while its creator, Emperor Shah Jahan, said it made 'the sun and the moon shed tears from their eyes'. Every year, tourists numbering more than twice the population of Agra pass through its gates to catch a once-in-a-lifetime glimpse... More

This is the world's most significant monument which is build up on true love story. I would be the most happy person to visit again and again this in my life time. I like to perform a concert there and hope all of you will like it.
