Very busy place but deserves a visit . truly a white wonder. Shah Jahan built it more than 350 years ago but its still in good condition.

Amazing place! The amount of work fulfilled breathtaking. It took 20.000 people and 22 years to complete. Be aware of scams and pickpockets. Entrance fee is way expensive for foreigners.

As most attractions this famous I was expecting to be a little under-whelmed when I actually saw it in the flesh. On the contrary actually standing beneath it's towering enormity was totally breath taking. A must see for anyone in north west India. Non Indian nationals do have to pay much more than locals but this is fair enough as... More

Loved the Taj Maja, it is another of the 7 Wonders of the World I have now visited. I disliked the hawkers at the entrance. Very persistent.

I must say its a biggest wonder of the world. I had visited this place more than 5 times. Last Visited in August. Every time you'll go...You'll feel peace here & realy admirable architecture. This is a place where anyone can go, of any age. Specially who loves history & Archaeology. I will be visiting again, very soon !

Taj mahal is undoubtedly considered one of the most beautiful man made structure in the world. It's good for paying a visit to this monument to observe the structure but not as good as to be considered one of the wonders of the world. There are more wonderful structures on the planet. For whatever reason pay a visit to see... More

We went there and were stunned to put it mildly. While people tend to hype things, this one was under hyped with comments like it has gone yellow now and it is not as good as it is made up to be etc. None of the negative comments made any sense once you got there. Everything about it is just... More

The Taj Mahal is even more beautiful than you imagine it will be. We visited in low season (May) and even then it got packed quickly. The whole sunrise over the Taj sounds a bit corny, but yes it really is worth getting up at 5am to see the sun rise, the pink of the dawn against the white of... More

I always wondered what's so special about taj mahal, that it"s been listed as one of the seven wonders of the world. But when saw it personally, i had all my doubts cleared, it had to be one of the 7 wonders. History says that emperor shahjahan built it as a memorail for his wife mumtaz. And taj mahal has... More
