I will validate previous reviewers impressions of this place. I will admit that I was tired when led to this last stop on our tour. The tour of the Taj was so wonderful, I let my guard down when taken to this "handicrafts exhibit." It was interesting and the work was beautiful but way out of my budget. I also... More

In June I purchased a Chess board and stand from this company. They are very high pressure sales people that try to get you to buy everything at very high inflated prices. I had them agree to ship the item to Canada for July 15th however it never arrived. I filed a chargeback and then the company sent it to... More

My two small jewellery boxes that cost me a ridiculous $120 AUD are both chipped and one of them is so broken that it almost seems like the chalk like copies they showed us at the showroom as scams on the road. To be completely honest, I felt like I was almost MADE to to buy the 2 boxes and... More

I am certain this shop also goes by "Marble Art Palace" as that is the name with the same number as above listed on my receipt for the highly overpriced table top I purchased. My husband and I were on a much smaller tour and later realized we were being "wined and dinned." I will never purchase anything in another... More

DO NOT buy from UP Marble Crafts Palace on Fatehabad Road!! They only show you the first big room with their most expensive items! Thinking this was the only room and only items they have to offer, my husband and I bought a 12x12 table top marble plate as a gift for our 1 year anniversary. The sales people said... More

Don't buy anything at this shop! Tourst scam! As others have warned global tourists, this shop tries to cheat you to the max! My worst experience was that, like others, I did not receive the item I orderd to be delivered to my home outside India (Japan). The English-speaking sales emphasized that they would use FedEx or something similar to... More

If you are on a day trip tour of Agra, you WILL end up here...Guaranteed. After visiting some poor souls stuck under a stairwell working on marble creations (supposedly the descendants of the the Taj creators!) you will be needlessly herded into the first of 2 display rooms. They will demonstrate their wares, postage techniques, and scraps of musty torn... More

I had the pieces I purchased in Agra from Unique shipped to me in the US. I did not receive what I ordered. The proprietor and I have since resolved the dispute. The facts of this time-consuming and stressful situation are below. When I got the incorrect pieces, I emailed the merchant a few times and got no response. I... More

I want to add some impressions to the review made by "BornForTravel". I felt the same when I realized that this store had two rooms, and they only show the second cheaper one after you're done with the first room. This is a proof (first one) of their dishonesty. Moreover, it's strange, to a first (and last) time visitor in... More
