Not as quiet as the reviews said - when we arrived just before sunset we saw many coaches, cars and tuk-tuks parked up and in the gardens themselves were lots of people. While stood across form the Taj Mahal there were quite a few children asking for money to take photos of them. The sunset wasn't as spectacular as thought... More

The gardens aren't as manicured as those at the Taj Mahal. But they are very nice, and great uncrowded walk to see the other side of the Taj. Climb up a levee to get good shots of the Taj with the river in front. Great location for Sunset pictures - crematorium smoke gives the sun an orange glow, and if... More

The garden is quite beautiful and is worth spending time at just by itself but it gets even better when you see the Taj Mahal from here. It just cant get more beautiful than this :)

This nice little garden will give you the opportunity to see sunset on Taj Mahal. The garden by itself is quiet and nice. If you're tied by your day come here during the afternoon and rest quietly waiting for the sunset.

The different perspective it gives of the Taj Mahal make this worth a short visit. The park is quite nice actually but the lack of amenities make it less attractive unless you are a local looking for some privacy with a friend. Make an afternoon of places on the other side of the river and make sure to include Itimad-ud-Daulah.

The 'moonlight' garden, a beautiful and green garden just opposite the river with a close view of the Taj. A much less crowded site to take photos of the Taj esp during sunset. Would recommend it if you have the time.

Here you are, practically standing along the river looking over at the throngs of visitors to the Taj Mahal. Yet there are only a couple of people next to you, so there's plenty of privacy to take a couple more iconic pictures and explore the ruins of the would-have-been black Taj. And I mean ruins, because it seems partially excavated... More

a lot less visited but with a great view of the Taj. You will find a lot of birds by the river and the local people walking past in the evening. However no Tripods allowed even outside of the garden. Take a stroll down the side of the garden for a different a free view of the Taj. But once... More

Even if you only have time to wander around the gardens this attraction is well worth the time. See all sorts of creatures from monkeys, deer and peacocks serenely sunbathing inj the shadow of this amazing fort.

We went to see the sunset, and while it was too cloudy for good color, it was our first view of the Taj Mahal. What a view of the backside, and so much closer with a small river between. Having arrived in Agra around 3:30pm, was a great option for a couple hours.
