Most people come here just to see the view of the Taj Mahal from across the river. The gardens are not the main attraction. We visited late afternoon and the sky was full of birds. We just got all our photos before it started to rain! Seemed to be mainly western tourists here. Worth coming for the view, small entry... More

We went there to get views of the Taj from across the Yammuna river and they were nice, but we really wanted to walk downstream a little to be able to get pics with more of the river in front of the taj. The area is well guarded and they do not let you walk outside of the garden to... More

We arrived at the park about half an hour or so before sunset. The park was almost completely empty - just a few people wondering about. We sat on the wall of the old ruins and watched the sun slowly set. The changes in colour of the Taj Mahal and the expanse of the Yamuna River as the sun set... More

Not many or rather almost none of the Indian tourists know about this place ... because when i was there all i could find were the locals and the western crowd ... Watching Taj from here is a different experience altogether ... Come here for the sunset and you'll thank me later hehe

A peaceful garden on the opposite side of the river Yamuna to the Taj Mahal so you get some excellent views of the Taj from here. We visited on a Thursday afternoon but it would probably be worth going on a Friday when the Taj is shut to get photos while no-one is wandering around the Taj.

I disliked only the begging children - be careful, dont take photos of them, they will follow you everywhere asking for money or chocolate!

As tourist-pilgrims-travelers we experience some days that just flow. The day we were in Agra was a day like that, fully loaded with plenty to do, yet it didn't really feel like any effort, it all flowed, and a fantastic afternoon at Moon Garden in the afternoon. Laying around on the grass, under shade trees, talking, watching people come and... More

This one of Agra's best kept secrets, well maintained gardens and amazing views of the Taj Mahal during Dawn or Dusk.

If you are in Agra to see the Taj Mahal, after you are done with the normal visit. Visit this park to get an excellent view of the Taj. Also known as the moonlight garden, lies on the opposite side of the Yamuna River. To reach there you will need to take a detour, takes just 15 min to reach... More
