This is a beautiful garden to wander in itself- but its real key is see the Taj Mahal from the back, with the river between. It doesn't detract from its beauty, in fact its another way to appreciate it. Best time to visit is late afternoon. Go and sit on the ruined wall under the trees (towards the left) and... More

This was a quite and calming place when I visited in the evening. It offers a different view of the Taj Mahal. A very picturesque one, at that.

It is the excellent way to see Taj. Mehtab bagh gives a perfect scenic exposure to Taj Mahal. Also known for Moonlight view of Taj. Though due to shortage of time did not get time.

Mahtab bag is Place to view the Taj from across the river Yamuna. The park needs the pavement done for convenience of tourist. It gives a view of Taj which is away from crowd. A night view is being planned but yet to take off. Park is otherwise typical Mughal park in design.

The view of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River from the Mehtab Bagh garden is a special one, particularly at sunset. The garden was fairly deserted when we visited and it was a lovely way to finish our memorable day of sightseeing in Agra.

Mehtab Bagh was the first on our itinerary during our Agra-Jaipir-Delhi trip. We arrived here early in the morning and we were the only ones who were at the park with our driver. The entrance fee for foreigners is Rs. 100 and it is worth it. The park isn't very big and as we were walking, the Taj gradually came... More

We went the evening before we visited the full site. Great views from across the river and so quiet - there were only about 50 or so people gazing in tranquility. It was an add on to our tour, but well worth it!

during our recent trip to India our tour guide took us to Mehtab Bagh. We hadn't read ant rip advisor review for this attraction quite simply because we didn't mind what it was like as long as we could view the Taj! It was an alternative view ok, from the back, but equally appealing. We were picked up before sunset... More
