The location might be a pain, in the center of the town and lot of traffic. But once you enter inside, you feel it was worth it. Its a pretty big garden with a lot of trees, flowers. They keep on making sculptures from flowers and trees which are beautiful. Must visit if you are on a romantic or a... More

A big garden with beautiful lawns. Garden having fresh air and clean and maintained well. There is a toda hut @ the top of the garden really great. Flowers here are very good and beautiful. In the centre of the Gardens lie a fossilized tree trunk estimated to be 20 million years old. We all enjoyed a lot.

For a person like me from Bangalore who has seen enough gardens in my own city, there was not much that excited me in Ooty's Botanical Garden. Lot of open spaces to sit around, for kids to play and take photos. If you have visited a Lalbagh in Bangalore then you can expect something on similar lines.

We may hay have gone on the wrong day. It was national holiday and there were more people than trees in the gardens. Nothing but peaceful. It was noisy and crowded. Might be nice on a less crowded day.

Don't misunderstand the garden by the review where some people say it is just a garden, children can play, lots of area for photo shoot. Yes it is but I bet these people haven't explored it at all. Do anyone of you know there is a fossilized tree trunk estimated to be 20 million years old. The garden is almost... More
