This is one of the awesome place that you'll ever see in your life. Don't skip this place even if people say there is no water and you can't enjoy the scenes without water. You can actually get deeper into the river (provided the watch guard doesn't see you) and go to the other side. It will be adventurous if... More

Simply amazing , good ample amount of water and best spot for some long exposure photography, But need to walk a lot and climb up and down to reach the perfect spot for the right view ... Best place to spend when bored and too much of green can bring the pleasant feel in you

Pykara Lake: Pykara lake is any day cleaner and beautiful compared to Ooty lake. The water is much clearer and the place is also very scenic. Boating is an enjoyable experience here. Although, motor boat option is available, I would strongly suggest taking the conventional diesel boat as the ride lasts twice as long as the motor boat one and... More

Can visit the only during heavy rainfall otherwise the waterfall is not worth visiting. Beware of monkeys Do NOT carry eatables in your hand as they might chase you. The best is clouds will surround you .... awwww

Pykara Lake was the first one that I saw, but somehow I was more excited for the Falls. Unfortunately, it can be seen only when the dam is actually opened in case of shortage of electricity. So sad tat I couldnt check it off my list. The Lake is gorgeous, serene and has all the facilities of boating and ferry... More
