The locals will insist you for a guide, which is in fact not needed. Just go and enter inside, take some really beautiful valley view and enjoy.

This place is little far from the ooty main city, but is worth visiting if visited at the right time. This is a plateau, and from the top one could view the beautiful landscapes full of forests and tea estates. Avoid this place in afternoon or during hot climate, as there are no trees over there. Parking is another concern... More

Its a shooting paradise. Even during our visit, a Kannada movie was being shot. The place has abundance of beauty. One can take wonderful snaps here. Do find time to visit this destination.

There are around 3 shooting points. We were lucky enough to be blessed with excellent weather. The view of the mountains was breathtaking. Again a must visit point en route to Pykara lake. One can also do a horse riding but just regular walking is even better as you can stop at various points & take photos

I have visited this place 6th time in 20 years. Each time I found it is loosing charm to attract. Beautiful scenary is disappearing in recent years. Ooty had became overcrowded in recent years is the main reason behind it. Nowadays no Nilgri smell in Ooty as 20 years ago. Although Ooty is in my heart.
