They chiseled granite for decades and from its heart emerged God. An amazing temple, the scale and magnitude cannot be described in words. Cameras are strictly not allowed inside the temple - please do not carry. There is a 1000 pillar granite hall inside the temple, truely fascinating piece of architecture.

This is a classic piece of architecture of the Pandyas. A proper visit requires a minimum of 3-4 hours and a temple guide. The architecture is so beautiful.
