This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Mukunthan, our guide, couldn't have been more knowledgeable or enthusiastic about Tamil Nadu cuisine. We visited 8 different food stalls and restaurants. Slices of tender coconut bark, string hoppers with coconut milk... sweet and savory foods that we couldn't have discovered on our own. Rather than having yet another hotel meal or wandering the streets looking for an eatery, we decided to give the foodies a try.
