The dam is amazing if you go during rainy seasons or after rainy seasons when the dam is full. The dam also has a park that is quite nice, but could have been maintained properly. The fish around the area is very tasty.

As dams go, this is one of the crucial one, across R. Bhavani which drains the Nilgiris. Large reservoir. Garden fairly small only. Worth visiting once.

Bhavani Sagar dam and reservoir is located in Bhavani river in Erode district. This is the second largest dam in tamil nadu. It is a good place to spend sometime in the evenings.

This dam is very maintained and kept good. The fishing in the dam can be very good encouragement for the locals. We can get very very fresh fried fish there than ever.
