The locals get fish out of the river water and sell them at the gate and for those who dont like fishy smell, avoid the... More

This dam is very maintained and kept good. The fishing in the dam can be very good encouragement for the locals. We can get very very fresh fried fish there than ever.

People who likes to swim in safer and fresh water can go this place. Near by dam a small canal which is outlet of dam water lets you enjoy with less depth swimming pool kinda environment. Outside dam park, you will get cheap and best Fishes for ready eat.

Yes, the public is allowed to visit the top of the dam, but only during the "AADI PERUKKU" day, which would mostly fall in the first week of August most of the times. The total stretch of the Dam is 16 kms, which would be pleasing to the eyes. You can enjoy wind speed of atleast 80 KMPH. There is... More

One of the well known dam near coimbatore but poorly maintained. The park is not very good. Authorities must maintain the dam and park well so people visiting there may not be disappointed

Bhavanisagar Dam is a marvelous structure....Its amazing to watch it. There is also a green park nearby where you can have a walk and spend your evening. Unfortunately this place needs a little more development by the government. But you can visit here. It's worth
