This reservoir park serves as a good pit stop just before entering the ghat road to Valparai. The views from the top of the dam is magnificent. Other than the views nothing much.Overall ok but nowhere near Malampuzha dam and reservoir park.

Just the place to go at this part of the year with the dam in the background, it's a place one should head to, to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you have the time, go up the hill and view the dam from Loam's view. It'll take your breath away

i am quite sure everyone will have the great feeling about the scenic beauty of aliyar dam. if u have a lazy walk on the wall of the dam, just enjoy the scenic beauty, the dam is surrounded by mountains, you can surely compare this view to some of the lakes in British Virgin islands or norway lakes

got introduced to new practices and ways of approaching the reality. Vethathiri was truly a seer and a great master, the practices are a genius of the one e have.

This is on the way to Valpparai and 30 minutes drive from Pollachi. There are few food stalls near the dam and there is a small park inside. The authorities can develop this place so that more visitors can be attracted

Location is very good. View of the mountains is just amazing. Poor maintanence has made the park not enjoyable. Authorities must take appropriate action to preserve the park. No good boating facilities either

This place doesnt have any entertainment. Its juz a park with few shops outside. Even though its a park connected with the reservoir, the place is not green. the park is not maintained properly. instead of stopping here and wasting time, its better u drive up, to valparai would be worth a ride

Just a little distance from this park is the well known Vedatri maharishi ashram.Ashram provides meditation courses of various levels and is really good. The aliyar dam park is maintained by the government and lacks cleanliness.
