We have gone their in the month of November... Its a trip you should do once in your lifetime! High altitude, nominal breathing issues all are there..(few pegs of Rum may help you out).. the whole journey is blessing to the eyes and once you reach their you feel mesmerized...The blue water is sooo soothing!

We went there in the month of December and it was an amazing experience with friends.. The place enchanted you and the entire drive was so thrilling and the experience unforgettable.. This place makes you feel as if you are not in India rather some exotic foreign location.. Must do if one is visited Gangtok in Sikkim.

Lachen is very beautiful place in Sikkim, which is less explored. It is a pristine lake, covered with snow which makes this sight a great deal of beauty and peace. We left from Lachen at around 3 in the morning and it took us approx 2.5 hours to reach. This place is controlled by Indian Army, so a special permit... More

I managed to tick this off my bucket list. Amazing place. Makes you feel close to heaven. You do tend to feel a lil breatlessness but its all worth it. The lake has some powers ..it instantly makes you feel close to god. Peaceful..calm...and serene. My highlight of the sikkim tour. Dont miss it !!
