This is one of the best and biggest palaces I have ever visited with so much of stuff still kept in its original place. This palace is a true story of how glorious our history was and how people sacrificed their lives to protect our history. You need one whole day to visit this palace properly and if you have... The fort is well maintained and has a treasure trove of a bye gone era.the sheesh mahal, the tiles from Belgium, rana prataps armour, the collection of silver items, all make it worth the visit. The views from the jharokas are stunning. Tips A guide may help you understand the history better. Keep 2-3 hrs minimum for the visit. 8-9 pm is the sound... More

One of the most beautiful and largest structure in the city of Udaipur, right on the banks of Lake Pichola. The palace immerses you in the history of Maharana Pratap. Takes 3-4 hours actually to see the entire palace, its that big!!!!

Kids really impressed visiting this palace.but they have to trained guides how to express history to travellers. Before some years when I went there guides are really good but now they are only money minded and not interested in explaining history.
