The ropeway and the temple atop the hill offers a fantastic view of the city. The ropeway itself has a long queue, so it would be best to go there a little ahead of time (factor in a queue time of 20-25mins). The temple is maintained good; however I expected rats running all over - but instead I spotted white... More

The ropeway takes you up to a temple and thought the ride is short, you can see the whole of Udaipur, which is quite a sight! Best time to visit is in the morning - early afternoon if you have gone during the peak season. Otherwise in the evening to see the sunset.

Ropeway ride is a decent one. The best time to visit is in the evening when the sun is settling and the city lights up. The view is awesome at around 7 pm as you can see almost the whole city lit up.

Go by ropeway or by walking, both ways you can have fun. It's just that if you like trekking then must opt walking and if you just wanted to enjoy the... More

There is a small ropeway to Karni mata temple. One has to wait for almost an hour for their turn for ropeway. The view from the top is good. One can see the whole lake from the Temple.

Although the ropeway ride is about 4min a side, there are long queues to get in. Tip: go in the morning when ques are short. Also, dont forget to get your number on the ticket else you wont be getting an entry.

Rope way is of 4 minutes ride and you will be thrilled while riding. After reaching over hill you can visit a temple of Ambe mata which is good. Rope way chart is nominal and affortable which is 50 INR per person.
