This museum is suggested for those who like vintage cars, just half kilometer from the City palace, there are around 20 cars including 2 Rolls-Royce and you have to pay about Rs 150/- { a cold drink is free along with the ticket }, in my view the cars are in dire need of restoration , plus the museum needs...

the experience was good . u get discount on ticket if u buy food too. only 20 cars to see so 1 hour will me more than enough .
In short, you'll see more classic and vintage cars if you hang around a local carpark back home!
We actually paid 250 rupees which included the thali lunch, it was very good and served in a clean and cool restaurant, by pretty well trained staff - by Indian standards. We spent longer eating lunch than is possible viewing the 15-20...

Unlike a couple of years ago, when you were allowed to lean on a car and take pictures, now there is fencing which keeps you a bay from experincing these beautiful rides. Also, there is a Thali offering restaurant, where the quality has dropped a couple of thousand points from when I visited in 2009.

I was surprised to see some of the exhibits in this collection, that they were described as vintage. But it's fascinating to know that the Maharajah does keep them all in working order and takes each of them out for a spin on a regular basis!
This is private vintage car collection of Royal Family. It includes cars from early 20th century till as late as 1960s. paid close to 150 Rs and got one soft drink and a bunch of 20-25 cars to look on. go only if you have love for vintage collection and good knowledge on cars.
Well kept vintage cars, displayed with appropriate and synthetic information, at the Maharaja´s Palace.
The number car and buses available are not worth wrt to ticket charged. Most of the cars are not well maintained. I went twice and total number so ats mentioned for viewing are not available
