A astounding fort of the King Kumbal. Ramparts where 08 horses could guard at a single time. The fort walls are 36 kms long and is the second longest wall in the world after the great wall of China. A place worth visiting and please allow enough time for yourself. Also have a watch at the 360 temples inside the... More

Gorgeous structure. It is difficult to believe that such a huge and strong fort can ever be built at such a remote location. The fort walls extend to 36 km in length and boasts to be second longest wall after the wall of China, broad enough for four horses to run parallel. See it ti believe.

Nice, but could have done with more signage telling us about the history of what we were looking at. Also a few maps would have been nice. The view from the top is amazing

It is nice to walk around with friends in the evening here. Go during sunset and spend 2-3 hours here.

It was one of the best experiences if i could say. The forts wall is the second largest after the Great Wall of China. Suggestion- please arrange for a guide, else your climb up to the fort would be meaningless. there is a lot you can know when you interact with the locals as books do not cover the simple... More

Kumbhalgarh Fort is about 90 km from udaipur and requires a day trip from there. The fort is known for it's 36 km long boundary wall which is next to Great wall of China. The fort is not visible beyond 500m of distance and thus making it an apt location for defense. Moreover, this Fort has never been attacked in... More

This fort is a little away from the main city. The walls protecting the fort and the fort itself look majestic from a distance. But the climb upto the top is very steep - if you are travelling with children and old people, it will be a problem. Also, there is nothing in the fort as such once you reach... More
