Kumbhalgarh is a beautiful place on a hilltop. Journey to Kumbhalgarh takes 3 hours max if you're a good driver from Udaipur. Roads are risky so careful while driving. This fort is about a 2.5 hrs long taxi ride away from udaipur. Taxi usually covered this fort along with Ranakpur jain temple. Well maintained and beautiful fort. This fort is at gd altitude. We took 1 day trip of kumbhalgarh fort ,Ranakpur jain temples, sri nathji temple via innova for 3200 from Nathdwara and totally worth.

Kumbhalgarh fort is about 100 kms from Udaipur.. the road is not great and overall the fort was disappointing, only plus point is its vast size and good view from the top, other than that the entire fort is empty with little information about its history..the way to top is very steep which is discouraging at times.avoid visiting the fort... It is a real historical place and something that should not be given a miss. Its around 120 kms from Udaipur, takes a little more than2 hrs to reach. The roads are in a bad state and mostly its single lane.
