Situated right on Lake Pichola, at Gangori Ghat, the haveli was built by one of the prime minister's of Udaipur. It has been restored, there is an interesting museum and a dancing school situated here. There are performances of traditional Rajasthani dance, music and puppetry every evening, within the setting of this stunning building .It is an experience not to be... More

One which is not familiar with rich culture of Rajasthan, should see this show. It is not spectacular but we will get idea about Rajasthani dances, music... More

Daily, 7-8pm, there is a show of local dances and puppetry inside the haveli (entry fee of Rs.60 for locals + Rs.100 for the camera). One of the best sights of my Udaipur trip! There are multiple dances during the entire show, depicting different times and regions, all ~5-7mins. So there is no monotony. Even as an Indian, and having... More

We were not so sure about attending the cultural program at the place....but it turned out to be one of the best things in our Rajasthan visit. I did know about some of the folk dances, but did not know they were so diverse. It is well presented and very entertaining. IT SHOULD BE ADVERTISED MORE....

Excellent! Do not miss if you are in Udaipur. It is a traditional show with rajasthani folk dances & acts. Reach early if you want to get best seats.

Total tourist trap. The whole thing feels extremely amateurish, clunky and unrehersed; to a point where it is almost comical. Such a shame when one knows how amazing Indian dancing can be!
