I visited this place for the evening cultural dance show called Dharohar. It is conducted everyday at 7-8pm (reach by 6.30pm to find a good place). It's an amazing showcase of traditional dance forms and the puppet show with live traditional background music. One must not miss this show if ever visit Udaipur.

Bagore ki Haveli stands on the Lake Pichola waterfront. This Haveli with around 100+ rooms is now a museum displaying the life and times of the people of Udaipur during the early period and their culture. Bagore ki Haveli has beautiful glass work on the windows and the walls. The paintings done on the walls are beautiful. The entry ticket... More

Its an old haveli on Gangaur Ghat restored is a museum. To be honest nothing too spectacular here to see. Just old rooms, puppets, utensils etc. The only attraction is a daily 1-hour show of dances in the evening.

We had got quite bored seeing one Haveli after other which were quite similar. This one belonged to a businessman / vyapari and thus it had many artifacts which were very interesting. Always have a guide to make it worth the visit.

I think that visiting this museum is a great way to get a good insight into what living in an Haveli could been like. I had a wonderful guide show me around and explain all the rooms and exhibitions - I think this is worth doing to get a greater understanding of the building. The entry fee is only Rs50,... More

The views were the only thing decent, the haveli was a forced museum, would have been better as a hotel instead

I had visited Bagore ki Haveli only for the special cultural show called "Dharohar" from 7-8 pm. The 1 hour show is a treat to watch as it dwells into cultural heritage and folk dances from various sectors and sections of Rajasthan including Kathputhli or puppet show. Its a treat to watch and will definitely spice your visit to Udaipur.... More

Wow.. This place has charisma of mesmerizing cultural show which happens daily 7 PM to 8 PM. Even my two year old son liked it more than his mobile phone. There are 7 to 8 different kinds of Rajasthani folk dance performances which you will definitely love. Their welcome song "Kesariya Balam ... Padharo Mare Des" itself will give you... More
