We really enjoyed the dance performance on a Saturday night (not sure if its daily; may be a few days a week). Its just a short auto ride away from the main area and the performance is set in a small courtyard which brings us close to the dancers. Must-do when in Udaipur.

I could not see the local dance show in the haveli. Visited only the museum. It was very good. Especially the puppet collection and the glass house.

It is a mansion which is near the Gangaur Ghat and one should take sometime off to visit this serene place. One particular attraction is the puppet display in the first floor which showcases a variety of costumes and puppets; the courtyard is nice to sit and reflect for a few minutes. The lake spoils the surroundings though; it was... More

It is located on the banks of Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat. There are folk dance performances and puppet show every day at 7pm for an hour at a very minimal entry ticket. Its best to buy the ticket an hour or so earlier to ensure better seating. A must visit if you are in Udaipur.

Though its historically a very important place ( and should be visited), its very secluded as there are only a handful of visitors that come here.

Really well set out to give you lots of insight into daily life as it was. Our guide (Muhammad Yusef) was fantastic and taught us so much about the haveli but also Indian culture in general, it was worth the entrance fee just to chat to him! Highly recommended :)

Great dance and music performance about local culture of Rajasthan. Very nice seating arrangement to give you feel of the culture and to forget all stress in life for that one hour.

One of the best cultural shows I have seen. It was very nice and authentic.Surely worth the visit. There was a 68 year old lady who danced so well, it was really nice
