Was there for a cultural show where they showcase various danceforms across Rajasthan, not to be missed, show was during the evening and the artists were just mesmerizing. Will highly recommend this to all

The Haveli is quite nice in itself - but the thing to look out for here is Dharohar - the cultural show put up by local dancers and puppeteers... They showcase many types of Rajasthani dance with a brief description and history of each... very enjoyable and definitely worth the visit if you're in Udaipur.

This isn't a flash or highbrow museum, but there are great little finds throughout this rambling old haveli. Particularly good is the nightly performance of traditional dance, starts at 7, be there from 6.30 for tix and to get a seat. Well worth it and very modestly priced.

If you are a foreigner, visit this place for some traditional folk dance and song performances. Indians will have already seen this kind of stuff before. Some of the performers are very old and worn out and I felt sorry for them.

The main structure is quite basic - but the gardens around is just lovely! Can spend hours here lazing around with a good book to read and listening to the koels singing on a spring afternoon.

The palace has a backdrop story of its struggle as how it was initially used as a property for stay by govt. officials and how now it has been turned into a museum. The museum depicts story of a wedding and its different rituals via mode of mud statues. It also has a puppet gallery and display of musical instruments... More
