We stayed in a 3 BR condo with 2 Baths. Nice location, but the condo was dated. Old appliances, no ice maker, old cookware, and I was really taken back when we asked for additional dishwasher detergent and were told we'd have to purchase any additional detergent. There were 6 of us staying 4 nights and they supplied 2 packets.... More

The resort is average in every way. No a/c in the rooms, food is over priced. Staff is fine on most days.

As I walk along Angel Fire's trails edged with whispering pines, sky tall aspens, and blue firs towering above wild flower green meadows split with bubbling brooks and hiding deer, I breathe cool wilderness. I breathe.

Everyone knows that Angel Fire is great attraction so I'm not writing about that. I'm writing about the awesome zip line guides Damon and Chase. As an older (60 years old) apprehensive participant, I was nervous and somewhat terrified of the challenge but the two young men were amazing. I was totally reassured by their cautiousness, patience, knowledge and friendly... More

We were here in August and the resort is basically dead in the summer. There is a very challenging zip line course but that really is the extent of their unique summary activities. Given the lack of activities and the overall poor restaurants if we return to this section of New Mexico next year we will likely stay over at... More

Fantastic! Our guide Hawk was knowledgeable and social, great day! Traveled up from Santa Fe with five others and really enjoyed seeing the amazing facility they have and the beauty of the valley. Looking forward to returning this fall!

Great time--we had a party of 6 and we would all do it again. Don't get put off by the practice runs that are only 200 feet long--you eventually go 1600 feet and it's exhilarating at speeds up to 60 mph! The waiting at each station for their turns drove the younger kids crazy but for the adults it was... More

Our first trip to Angel Fire after spending previous trips to NM in Taos Ski Valley. Early in the week we wanted to ride the ski lifts and went into the ticket office to purchase tickets. The lady running the ticket office has to be the most abrupt, unfriendly, just plain rude person I have ever seen operating a tourist... More

Scott, thank you for your review, I am disappointed to hear that you felt you were treated "abruptly and rudely" That is not how we wish to be perceived. I know that the ticket office is a high volume point of sales and reservation redemption center and we have been very busy this summer with Zipline tours, Disc Golf, Mountain... More

Perfect place to learn to ski. Plenty of runs are easy for beginners. Very large bunny hill as well. More advanced skiers would be happier going to Taos.

Thank you for your review Rgould! While we pride ourselves with our Family Based skiing and riding and have one of the best Ski Schools and learning facilities in the Rocky Mountains, we do have some steeps and bumps that will challenge even the most advanced enthusiast!
