We took the ski lift to view the fall colors on Angel Fire Resort. Very worthwhile! At the top, you can mountain bike (with some really challenging trails), play disc golf, go on the zip line, or hike. We hiked into an old bristlecone pine grove as well as watched people of all ages 'shred' the trails. The folks playing... More

My wife and I own a condo across from the Lodge and enjoy walking there for an after dinner drink. This evening was most enjoyable especially since the slower time of the year offers us the opportunity to talk with the friendly and well-educated staff. Mary was most pleasant as we discussed not only the attractions of each season at... More

Great golf course at 8,400 feet. 75 sunny degrees in August! Resort bar and restaurant nicely furnished and friendly staff. Food good, but not great and a bit pricey.

Love Angel Fire. A small friendly place with unintimidating slopes. Their black is a hard blue elsewhere. An easy drive from Dallas....just make sure there is plenty of snow when you go.

Don't know what we were thinking when we decided Angel Fire was a good place to stay with Santa Fe being a focus of our trip???? That aside, our condo is dated and outside could use a broom and handy man...never mind the road is not paved. Positives, and there are always some, include a fireplace with working gas logs...I... My family and I had a great time. It was a very peaceful place with a beautiful view. The room was a very good size and was clean. The lobby could use a little updating (carpet needs to be replaced). My husband wasn't too thrilled with the fact that there wasn't AC but it didn't bother me. We were able... More

1st time in angel fire, had a great time down hill biking. The staff in the bike shop were awesome, Sally in particular, and Jason the manger in the restaurant was very helpful and nice to our family. Did everything he could to accommodate us.

Our day started with a scenic drive from Taos. The street signs at the resort were confusing and we had a hard time finding the office to sign in for the zip line tour. The mountain was busy with mountain bikers and the girl behind the counter seemed annoyed by the traffic but we were signed in and ready for... More

We took to the Zip Line after having been in Puerto Vallarta and Cancun, the experience of using a US Based Zip line was worlds apart. Safety was absolutely paramount, we were event tethered in when standing on the platforms. If you're brave you can even get a starting run on a couple of the lines. On the fast (50mph)... More

Second time to visit, really like the fact that it is off the beaten path of Taos and Red River but close enough that they both can be visited in same day and yet get back to the quiet and relaxing atmosphere of the Angel Fire Lodge. No dislikes.
