Winter, spring, summer, fall. All four seasons offer lots of fun & lots of things to do at the Resort. Fantastic skiing on an uncrowded mountain in the winter. Summer finds that very same mountain turned into a giant mountain bike park that has national & international competitions. Fall is the time to come view the turning of the aspens... More

We visited Angel Fire Resort for a ski trip at the end of January. My 5 year old son spent the first day in ski school and we were extremely pleased. Although a little pricy, he had a full day of learning and his instructor only had two children. (He attended on a Friday, and on Saturday, we noticed that... More

We recently spent spring break in Angel Fire with family and friends. While we knew the skiing conditions were not ideal (high temps and lack of snow), the skiing at the top of the mountain was still pretty good. What really surprised me was how rude the people working at the resort were -- from lift operators to bartenders, restaurant... More

We enrolled our 3 and 5 year old in Snowbear Camp at the Angel Fire Preschool and Daycare in March of 2014 during our Spring Break week. I was feeling a little guilty about going on a family vacation and dropping them off for "child care" while my husband and I went off and skiied the first day. When I... More

I really should have known better than to stay at a place that had a non-refundable charge. Unfortunately, I didn't know I never received the e-mail confirmation about the skis/boots/sci school, etc, so I did not realize they were non-refundable as well. Since this was not something I HAD to reserve in advance, I did not realize it would be... More

Don't make reservations at this resort. Because if you have an emergency and have to cancel or reschedule they don't care. I asked for refund because we are sick and don't want to try to ski under the weather. They had told me they can't help me and only give me 30 days to use my reservation and if I... More

Dear Jared T, I am surprised at this posting as when you made the reservation on Wednesday, 2/19/14, for an arrival on Monday, 2/24/14, you were advised that the winter reservations are non-refundable. When you originally called to cancel we offered to allow a date change but you declined. The first I heard of anyone being sick is when you... More

We spent Presidents' Day weekend in Angel Fire with our grandchildren and my parents. This place is a class act! The weather was not perfect for a snow ski vacation because the temperature reached 50-55 degrees and the wind was gusting, ironically, 50-55 mph! But they persevered... When one ski lift shut down because of high winds, they bussed people... More

This is a great hill to start out on if you and your family are new to skiing- pretty laid back, lots of families and pretty reasonable. Regarding instructors: the childrens instructors were awesome- however the adult instructor we booked for a group of four private lesson was not so good or us, but maybe it was just an off... More

Well, first let me say Al our ski instructor was amazing! Big big shout out to him! My husband, my son and I went to ski school for a refresher course (for hubby and me) and kinda first time ski lessons for our son. Took the 2 ski lessons with Al and with enough confidence went out on our own.... More

I'm not a snowboarder but i love to go sledding/tubing, and Angel Fire is a great place to do just that! Right next to the ski run is a tubing area complete with a people mover so you don't have to trek back up every time you want to slide down the hill. So much fun! And staff is great... More
