Spent one day snowboarding there with my wife and brother. In terms of the trails it looks to be a great place. Good for beginners because of some green/blue-ish runs that are really good to get some confidence when riding the board. I didn't have the chance to ride the blues, blacks or tree trails but during the season with... More

Thanks Julie for your review! Spring Break is always a great time to ski at Angel Fire Resort! This season, the incredible snows in February made March skiing incredible! We closed with 95% of the mountain open and in fantastic shape! See you next season if not sooner! More

This was our first visit to Angel Fire New Mexico. EVERYONE at the lodge and the ski hill was awesome. They seemed to try so hard to make sure we were able to have a great time. We stayed in Chalet Condo #55 directly across the street from the main lodge. Since we booked through the lodge we got to... More

Great Spring Break skiing. Only negative is parking is a Hugh mess in march. With the snow melting on the ground, the 3 satellite parking lots are muddy. VERY MUDDY! Don't wear any fancy expensive fur boots, probably could use rain boots.... It was that bad. The shuddle buses come by almost every 5 min. No parking directly at the... More

Dear Snowseeker, Thank you for your candid review! With the amount of snow we have received this season, it is not surprising that the result is some mud in the parking lots. We do maintain those lots regularly and plan to continue to work on drainage and base course grading. Actually, new this year we have an outdoor grill and... More

This was our first time to Angel Fire and the experience was wonderful. We have two kids 5, 8 that have never skied, we enrolled them in ski school. By the second day my 8 year old was going down blues with ease. I hadn't been on skis before so I did a full day of snow boarding lessons by... More

Good location to drive around the enchanted circle of New Mexico, if you get off-season rates, Little to do in angel fire itself, but the region in general is beautiful. Resort was okay, but no special notes.

We hadn't skied in Angel Fire in over 16 years and we were worried that it wouldn't be as we remembered. We were delighted to find that the skiing there is still great! It's a lovely family resort and offers terrain for everyone. One of the things we always loved about Angel Fire was how helpful and friendly staff was.... More

My family has been going to Angel Fire to ski for years. We really enjoy the family friendly atmosphere of the resort, as well as the selection of ski runs.
