It is one of the scenic site places in Jodhpur and one of the biggest lakes in Rajasthan. It supplies water to most part of the city.Garden along with lake attracts people a lot and that is why it is one of the crowded place in Jodhpur. I went with my family and enjoyed the cool breeze of the lake.

A well formed land locked Natural lake in the midst of hills of aravalies right in the city limits of the sun city of Jodhpur. One of the main drinking water resources before Indra Gandhi Canal lift water but also doubles up as main storage and reservoir for back up against maintenance of conventional supply.

It is quite a sight to see such a large glistening lake in the desert environment near Jodhpur, even the rubbish around the edges glisten like some fallen jewels. If you are by car or motorbike then it is a nice spot to see and stay for a short time but if planning to take a taxi or auto-rikshaw then... More

The journey to the lake side was very much refreshing since it was very hot day in Jodhpur. Lake has entry from two sides, one is from Nirali Dhani and other is from Jaisalmer highway. We enterd fro Nirali Dhani side and came back from high way side. Drive from Nirali Dhani side is of more scenic beauty.

Kaylana lake is famous among locals. The waters come to this lake now days not only from the rain collection from the small hills but also from the indira gandhi canal. Boating to this area has been on and off. If you are tourist it is slightly off from the main cities situated between small hills. It is a beautiful... More

This is a bit on the outer side of jodhpur, close to some great nurseries (green plants that suit the jodhpur weather)..the best way to approach would be from the nirali dhani, a resort..just opp to it ..there is a road leading to the kaylana lake..be careful when you drive as you have thorny trees, that would scrape your car..but the lake... Basically it is a Picnic spot and still under development. The lake is nice but nothing special. I am not sure what will happen in future, but at this moment you can give it a pass and advance on the road. You won't miss that much if you do not visit. Still, if you visit, it won't be taking much... More

It is located at outer part of jodhpur, making it little difficult to reach. Lake is also not that great it's more dirty. It has one garden also but not developed at all. Out side u can see some local ice cream and snacks shop but better not to eat from there. Over all not worth going.

There is nothing which justifies it calling as a lake. It is very dirty and very difficult to find. Visiting it would be a huge waste of time and money.
