Too hot, not maintained, parking available for vehicles, nothing much to do other than 2-3 photo clicks.

Poorly maintained water reserviour to water Jodhpur. lot of garbage in and around the lake, use to be a good fishing spot. I visited 100's of times since 1990's and only seen it degrading. now its the time for the locals to take some initiatives, but its the good place to do Birding in winters around Jodhpur.

This place was once used to be a major coveted place of sightseeing but it has lost it charm due to many reasons mainly because of no attention being paid on its maintenance and now also the water level has also fallen to all time low and making the lake dry in most places

It could have been a nice place if it was well maintained. There was trash thrown around the lake and overall, the place is not well kept. When we visited the water level in the lake was not as high as what I have seen in some pictures. There was not really much to do and we did not spend... More

It is one of the scenic site places in Jodhpur and one of the biggest lakes in Rajasthan. It supplies water to most part of the city.Garden along with lake attracts people a lot and that is why it is one of the crowded place in Jodhpur. I went with my family and enjoyed the cool breeze of the lake.

A well formed land locked Natural lake in the midst of hills of aravalies right in the city limits of the sun city of Jodhpur. One of the main drinking water resources before Indra Gandhi Canal lift water but also doubles up as main storage and reservoir for back up against maintenance of conventional supply.
