Our Camel safaris are adventures and unique because we travel from remote areas filled with joy and free from tourist distractions with a maximum no. of persons per safari. The main objective is to spread knowledge of the natural and cultural resources of Northern India and distribute the benefits of tourism throughout the region, especially to the rural communities. A longer safari also offers you an opportunity to experience the more remote areas and therefore the relaxation the desert has to offer and it means more fun on the camel and more nights with the shooting stars rather than more sightseeing. Our staff team would take immense pleasure in showing you our special part of India in an environmentally friendly way

I am not a person that fancies packaged tours but I decided to book our family for a 1 night/day packaged trip to Damodra Desert Camp. It was amazing to say the least. The tour starts by taking you through some lesser known areas around Jaisalmer - an oasis, a fort ruin, a village and finally a camel ride to... More

They charge costly as compared to other dessert camps but their entire arrangement is really good........Its value for money.....only 10 Swiss tents & very safe. Entire itirnery is very interesting with a visit to villege, camel ride, & then entire evening with folk dance & music. Good experience of dessert as well as tent.....

I would rate this camp as the most exotic experience I have had in Jaisalmer...from the camel safari, to the beautiful camp site, to the entire live folk music and dance experience to the delicious food..everything is well planned, aesthetically beautiful and as close to nature as you can get! A total must-do if you are in Jaisalmer...the entire camp... More

Ohh the mesmerizing night that we spent on Damodra Desert Safaris Day Tours. As soon as we entered, we were welcomed by garlands. Thereafter Mr. Prithvi with his wife and Mr. Raju introduced themselves. Raju was very helpful in assisting us with everything. We freshened up. They had arranged for a folk musical affair in the evening complete with song... More

First they took us to see the villages of Kuldhara and Khaba. We saw the Khaba fort. It is a fountain of knowledge on local geological changes. Spent an hour reading the plaques and still needed a couple of hours to read all of them completely. We also saw the oasis which is manmade. Then in the evening they took... More

Pappu the owner and his remarkable staff run this camp and its Swiss tents, and their efforts make it all worth while. The evening performance was by local singers and dancers, which means that visitors are contributing locally, rather than to the coffers of an absentee-owner. The food is well-cooked and plentiful, and the stars really shine in the night... More

Went there for some thrill and adventure for one night stay. The driver Mr. Meer Khan picked us from our hotel and took us to Kuldhara, the empty village. An exciting experience to see the unity in old times which is lacking in today's world. Then he t1ook us to the sand dunes. Had a camel ride there. It is... More

safari with amazing people, everyone's very warm, awesome rajasthani food. probably the best sky view. Very quite, good performances. overall a great experience. The owner is a local who earlier worked as a camel guide, he knows the desert well and has chosen a good peaceful location for the camp.

This was without a doubt one of the highlights of our 2 month trip in India. Papu the owner arranged our pick from the station and drove us approx 40 minutes into the desert where we met his team. We rode camels deep into the magical desert and spotted amazing wildlife along the way. We watched the sunset on the... More
