It is just a small gate to the entrance to the fort. You wouldn't even notice its name of presence. I don't know why its even listed here.

This is one of the main entrances (Second Gate after the main entrance gate from the market) of the golden fort with a typical "Toran" on it's top and two big towers.

It is one of oldest gate. It is inside the golden fort. All the gates are so beautiful and very old.

The Surya Gate is named as it is the first to receive the sunrise. It throws a golden colour hue to the ramparts and can be visited during fort visit only.

This is one of the entrance gate of jaisalmer fort.it has good carved architecture.but this gate is narrow.it is ancient gate.I visited here in Feb 2015.

Very old and ancient place maintained by the toursim people. Nice carvings done on the gate and very photogenic place.

Close to the Pakistan border. Fort was very majestic with very narrow winding passage ways. One has to be careful to keep one's head from hitting the roof especially while entering an arch. This was designed specifically to prevent invaders from swarming in.

when you enter the fort from this gate there are lots of attraction and there are lots of tourists from different part of the world the guide gave us a full history of the place and people are still living in the fort like in the past where the cast system is still present in the daily life without any... More
