The zoological park is very good with animals like white tigers, Zebra, bears etc. It is a vast park. If you plan to go opt for a batter driven car. Walking through all the way could be very tiring. However, it is not a world class zoological park

White tigers are nice to see. Walk is best to see all instead to go by Battery operated van. If family more than 6 to 7 persons with old age then go by van inside the park. All animals are available. Good place for children

Located about 14 km away from the city centre (Bhubaneswar),(Nandan Kanan will always attract you with it's sheer area and length. All kinds of animals, birds and reptiles are there. But the most impressive thing which I could find was, the Safari visits. You pay less than Rs.100 per person and you could see a set of 4 safaris (Lion... More

This zoo is spread over a large wooded area with open enclosures for animals. It can be toured using either an 5 seater (approx Rs500 / hour) or 8 seater (Rs 750 / hour) electric battery operated vehicle with a driver which is the most comfortable way to see the zoo, especially for the elderly. It is famous for its... More

This park is an absolute pleasure to see. It has one of the largest varieties of animals and birds i have seen. the animals didn't look like they were sad like in most other places.
