Clean and well managed zoo. Many species of animals available here. Battery operated vehicle is available for park ride.

Its a nice place to explore. If you are kind of animal lover then do visit the place you will love it. I would suggest to visit during summer because they generally come out most of the time at this time to drink water.

One of the biggest and best maintained zoos in India.A must visit when in Bhubaneswar.You can witness a variety of animals, mammals,reptiles and birds.Start early at around 10 am you can spend your entire day here.Botanical gardens,toy train,rope way ,boat ride are other attractions here.white tiger,bear and lion safaris are worth visiting.Drinking water,toilet and canteen facilities are maintained well inside... if you are a nature lover & love the animal, you should visit Nandan Kanan once.Nandankanan Zoological Park is a 400-hectare zoo and botanical garden in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Established in 1960, it was opened to the public in 1979 and became the first zoo in India to join World Association of Zoos and Aquariums in 2009

i dont know if i have expected more it exhibited less but i am not very satisfied with the place...i couldnt see many animals there..it was really a strenuous nd boring trip

Visited in April 2015. A good duration is half-day visit especially with kids as they get tired soon. A walk is good for seeing many species. However, for seeing lions, white tigers, beers and deers, a safari is preferable because they are located far from each other and has some distance to walk. There are places for eatouts at the... The zoo is very large and the arrangements made are very good, you can take a battery operated vehicle and / or a bus to cover this large area of about 12000 acres which I was told this is worth seeing all the animals were healthy and the area was clean

i like the place as its the largest open area zoological park where you can introduce yourself with different kinda of species alive, Nothing to dislike as little hot during Summer.
