The place is very calm & you can feel that you have entered in the nature’s womb if you visit between August-September (just... More

We had been here after the monsoon and it was a very peaceful place. Good place to just sit around and enjoy the serene atmosphere and the nature..! After monsoon, the surrounding area tends to be even more beautiful

Avoid weekends and evenings. Dont go to the MTDC resort. Stay away from all tourist stuff - its bad. Keep driving past the MTDC resort for at least half an hour - its a winding and undulating road. You will be in the midst of some of the yet remaining forests of the Western Ghats. Pristine patches of dense forests... More

Good for sight seeing and a bit of trekking. Good after rains. Wear shoes with grip and jackets (not umbrellas)

A nice DAM Recreation area considering you forget about the bad road near it. You can have food and kids can play around the Area. The is also an adventure camp there that provides speed boats, Swimming , Rafting, Camping etc. Preferred way is by personal vehicle only. Two Wheeler preferred. Best time is during monsoon or any day in... More

Must visit to view the sunset & Sunrise. Calm & quiet place to sit for hours. Driving is fun around the area because of the terrain & view.
