Panshet Dam and the surroundings are very beautiful and we love this place for its spectacular views. It is heavenly in the rains. Lavasa Lake city has made this place popular.

the peacefulness of this place is best felt in the early morning... but does attract a lot of visitors, and they all leave their litter behind!

its dam good for bird watchers as very different species of birds can be seen in surroundings. you can enjoy water sports at nearby resorts or you can just enjoy water and greenery by having walk around any of these place.

I went Panshet dam on 6 JAN 2013 for boating and fun but after reaching there i came to know boating facility is closed for a week due to maintance purpose. If anybody planning for pinic and boating in panshet dam, i suggest plan after 13th JAN 2013.
