The Panshet Dam is a Calm, Serene place to relax & spend the day at. It is near Pune, close to the Khadakvasla Dam & has a huge lake with good boating facilities as well. There is a small restaurant there that serves decent local food. If you are planning to stay overnight, MTDC has a very good resort at... More

We visited this place on Makar Sankrati on 15th January. Calm and Cool Place away from Hustle and bustle of city life. Very good place for picnic with Friends and family. Boating facility is available. Nearby restaurant is available for snacks and Hot/cold drinks. Large reservoir of water.

A few years back this place was not easily accessible and fewer people were seen here. Now with the influx of tourists this has become a crowded place, especially during the monsoons. Still if you know where to look there are a few back areas with relatively very less people. Still calm and serene. Panshet is a place i keep... More

been to this place with friends. It is not accessible by public transport so need personal vehicle. They have water sports in this area but are bit costly.

The dam stretched its span to further than a kilometer. Sunrise in the hills gave it such a splendid look, it was grim to not admire this man-made construction in its natural scenery. After having a heart-fill viewing of the dam and the rising sun, the blooming flowers and the birds out of their roosting places to enjoy another day,... More

The place has quite a few things to do. The night stay in the Tents with bonfire is the most interesting one. The location is beautiful, Just the road goes Bumpy when you are 7-8 KMs away from the tent resorts

One of the must visit weekend spots from Pune or Mumbai. The Backwater area of the dam is beautiful. There are river sports that you can indulge in. Not to be missed during the rains.

weekend drive or long drive to this place is worth, but not to check out dam only. This one is a smaller dam.

I have been twice to this place and each time I fully enjoyed it. Easily reachable as its not very far from the city. Best time to visit is during monsoons...one can see loads of greenery around here...very calm, beautiful and picturesque location. Good place for those who love boating/water sports.
