The walk is up the hill, the steps in the hill are very wide and the entire walk up to the temple has been landscaped. While in the middle of heavy traffic, you get a peaceful feeling, the temple and the hill is not crowded except for auspicious days. There is a car park at the base with ample parking... More

A real test of faith to climb up the steep 100 steps of this Hindu temple to have a glimpse of the shrine of Goddess Chaturshringi. There are small temples in the surrounding four hillocks.Nice view from the top. The area around the temple should be kept neat and clean.

Its a nice place to be when in Pune. Earlier, before it got trapped in buildings, it was very nice atmosphere particularly in the evening around sun setting time. The temple is good and attract lot of crowd during Navaratri Mahotsav.

The Chaturshrungi temple is on a small hill near University Circle. There are around 100 steps to climb. The sanctum is beautiful with a devine view of beautifully adorned Goddess Chaturshrungi. There is huge rush during the Navratri festival while on other days you can get quick darshan

You can visit this temple to offer your prayers without buying any of the Pooja stuff you will get when you enter. Take a moment to relax as you will find a lot of options to sit in peace.
