This temple is located at a height which needs to be reached by climbing the stairs. So for the aged ones, it might not be a good option. There are other small temples at the lower part as well

Too many steps to climb up. Due to one way parking vehicle is an issue. Gapthi in middle of the steps is powerful and attractive. Navaratri/tuesday/friday very enchanting and highly crowded. God devotion place. Worth visting

1. It was the most important festival of the year 2. a lot of crowd 3. You achieve both objectives - Darshan of Devi and Exercise - since you have to climb several steps

This temple is one of the most famous places in pune, city. However i think it is kind of hyped. The temple is properly maintained and everything. The only drawback that i could notice is that is has a lot of stairs which might be uncomfortable for a lot of visitors.

It is a very nice temple situated right in the heart of the city. You have to climb about a hundred steps . But its an easy climb. The trees and the greenery around make the climb enjoyable. The temple is well maintained and is really clean. Easy parking space too. Gets very crowded during Navratri. Get great peace of mind... More
