I visit this place very often with family. A very good, calm, serene and family outing place. 100+ steps to climb before temple.Temple and area is very clean. It is very divine felling and also gives a good view of part of Pune. The goddess status is very beautiful and gives very divine and peaceful feeling in front of statue.... More

Temple located in now the heart of city. About 150 steps to reach the devi but worth the effort as both the murthi and the historical significance make it a unique experience.

Feels great when you climb the stairs and reach the temple..you feel a step closer to nature..Great for a morning/evening walk too..There is a small hill up the temple, the way to it is a little dangerous, so only a few people visit the hill..it’s very quiet..serene and soothing, and gives you an excellent view of a part of Pune..

Good place to start a morning walk up the hill. Visit during the Navratri Festival around September for a total religious festival experience.

Did not experience anything different here in terms of a site seeing place. Spiritually it was an average experience

You feel really good after visiting this temple and making a small donation. You get to ring the bell when you are at the top of the steps, take off your shoes (note, no payment needed) and enter the temple to pay your respect.

Nice to see and close to where we stayed. Lots of steps, put on your walking shoes! Take your time and enjoy the sights along the way.

Visited there in the evening time. Very clean and fresh environment. U need to climb few stairs and then rest there with ur loved ones. Photographic scenes are available. Easily accessible. Rains added the joy to the experience. Temple is really nice play to spend an hour or two and relax. Toilets are available for free.

Accessibility to this place is good. It is calm and serene here. We visited with college friends during 2007 August. When you visit this temple, make sure to visit mountains above the temple. You will definitely love the view from top.
