The temple dedicated to Goddess Durga is situated on a Hillock. The temple is near the Pune Vidyapeeth. The location of the temple is very beautiful and mystique. Devotees have take the stairways to reach the temple. The climb is quite steep but is really enjoyable. It gets tough in the hot summer to climb the stairs but is really... More

A nice place in middle of the city. Once you climb up the stairs to reach the temple its very quiet and relaxing. You don't even feel you are in middle of the city as you don't hear any honking or traffic. Its on a hill, so you can even climb up (no staircase) to reach top of the hill... More

The temple is the ideal place to take a break from the city and connect with your inner faith and god. The temple has has some reconstruction done without destroying the original charm of the temple. An ideal afternoon could be spent with morning prayers followed by a sitout with family along the steps leading up to the temple and... More

With a rich history behind it, the Durga temple here is much revered by locals. The climb of 300 steps to the hilltop temple is worth every bit, both spiritually and scenically.

Temple is on the top of the hill and a calm and quiet place to visit for Darshan. It was drizzling when we went, the experience was heavenly.

Chaturshrungi Temple is on the top of the hill (about 100-120 steps) and a calm and quiet place to visit for Darshan. The temple has separate queue for Men & Women once you are inside the temple. For the parikrama you need to step out of the temple and that is where you get a great view of Pune city... More

This temple is a major tourist attraction since it offers an amazing panoramic view of the city. The stairs you climb take care of the fact of you skipping the exercise that day :)
