We started our journey from wakad - pune early in the morning! The drive itself was beautiful, fresh air gushing through the windows added up to the excitement! We did not halt at lavasa as its a bit too heavy on the pockets. But i must say that the city is beautifully tailored between the mountains.. there is a lake... More

I have been here twice and have enjoyed just the journey to reach this place from Pune. As post reaching Lavasa there is nothing much to do, unless there is some event going on. Though there are some water-sports, but I would enjoy such things rather on sea+beach. I have liked the scenic view of the Italian-looking planned city from... More

Very nice place for weekend. Will be there again in monsoon. Beautiful scenic beauty. Hotel rent is costly as per my pocket.

Lavas is one of first hill-station/resorts developed by the Maharashtra Government. Once you reach there from Pune you realize that it sits in a bowl - mountains surround in in all directions.... If willing to go for outside for a day and enjoy driving then this is place where roads are like ghats with lot of curved turns which makes driving hectic. Best to go on bike with group of friends.

A very attractive clean place away from the maddening crowd. The travel from Pune is 3 hrs but worth the distance traveled. A place I definitely say worth going a 2nd and 3rd time with family

A newly constructed city right a midst the valley, far from the city troubles and pollution. The guest houses are constructed in French style with red, yellow and blue walls. They look beautiful. We visited a country club nearby our guest house. We enjoyed the theme party and ended up watching sunrise from the hill top. IT is a great... More

The very own Lavasa for every Puniete. Heard about the place & decided to give worth a try. Started from Pashan by car through the Pirangut road via Lavale phata. The roads are small till Pirangut phata & after that's its a pleasure for people who love to drive. It took me approx. one & half hours to the spot.... More
