Lavasa has upped the ante on the production of new homes, residences and food options. However, it is more suitable for people who stay or who have a place of their own there. They had a festival going on which attracted a lot of crowd. There are a number of adventure and sport activities, rather at a premium but good... More

I visited lavasa recently and it was a perfect one day outing as the drive to lavasa is wonderful and being monsoon season it added to the charm, the beauty of lavasa is that it is a planned city and the lake is very beautiful but once you reach there options of things to do is very less and so... The much hyped Lavasa City is only as good as a couple of hours of Sightseeing, nothing more. The place is overly priced, everything is expensive. You can just stroll around for a couple of hours. The only attraction seems to be the drive along the mountain stretch and the Lake. Though the place is advertised as a retired /... More

If you are looking at a day trip over the weekend and like quiet places where there's not much to do but roam around and relax, then this could be the place you are looking forward to visit. Surrounded by hills, this small valley is best visited during Jul-Aug as the drizzling adds to the serene. I visited Lavasa twice,... More

Lavasa is about 45 Kms from Pune & the drive is extremely scenic... The roads a well built & hence the place can be managed in a day's trip. There are many resorts in here for the stay but we honestly felt there isn't much to do there with the stay. Place is scenic.. you can get plenty of pictures... More

Drive to Lavasa from Pune last Sunday afternoon was a real thrill - misty weather with drizzle all through; stopped for Corn (being grilled on way side) and clouds would gush into the car; several waterfalls along the road added to the beauty of the journey ; took us nearly 2 hrs to reach. Had Sandwich & Tea/Coffee at Fortune... More
