3 out of 12 jyotirlings are situated in a distance of 300km in Maharshtra. So, you can plan 2 days tour along with Shridi & Shani Singhanapur. Temple is sitauted near famous ellora caves. Male devotees have to get topless to worship the shivling. Overall, a nice place to visit.

It was very divine experience. You can feel mahadev's presence in the temple. too much positive. The feeling was like surrendering your self to shiva. There are no restrictions, you can sit with the shivling for long time and do abhishek and can offer flowers and billi patra to the lord shiva. Mobile phones are not allowed so you have... More

One of the jyotilingams and as usual you have to make your way through over enthusiastic shopkeepers and fellow travellers. Need to take off your shirt(males only) before entering the temple

The minute I entered the temple, the aura / energy / power whatever you may call it hit me. I really loved the temple and though it was crowded, I got ample time to pray and touch the deities.

Worth a visit. Rather crowded outside the temple. Specific dress code, so look into it before going.

The Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, located very close to the Ellora caves is one of the most sacred Shiva temples of the country. It is the 12th Jyotirlinga that are scattered all across our nation. As in almost all temples, just outside the entrance there are numerous shops selling flowers, sweets, fruits and other materials for puja. Restored by Ahilyabai Holkar,... More
