The historic Chand Minar inside the Daulatabad Fort is one of the main architectural features of the fort. Visitors are not allowed to enter the minaret, one can only click photos from top of the fort. It has also been painted in orange instead of restoring it with a historical appearance.

The minar is part of the daulatabad fort. Few years back visitors were allowed to go up to first or second levels but now you can just see it only from the fort.
