If you have seen The Great Taj Mahal then their is nothing more interesting to see in Chand Minar. Centuries old heritage . Some parts are maintained well and some are under restoration.

It can be clubbed alongwith the Daulatabad fort. The minar has been closed and one cannot visit the top. However you can get a top view if you climb up the fort. This place must be visited on the way back from Ellora to Aurangabad.

The historic Chand Minar inside the Daulatabad Fort is one of the main architectural features of the fort. Visitors are not allowed to enter the minaret, one can only click photos from top of the fort. It has also been painted in orange instead of restoring it with a historical appearance.
