It's the perfect time to visit the place. The view points seems to be amazing .The only problem we faced is rush in the weekends at waterfalls.

This is a hill station. but not crowded. It is on the border of Konkan and south maharashtra. Cool in summer also. In rainy season it is must visit place of Kolhapur. A very best and safe waterfall is there just on the main road going to sawant wadi. very nice to visit in rains .

Amboli is my favourite place in maharashtra. Best time to visit amboli is rainy season. You are totally refresh when visited this place. Hirankeshi ugam, kavlesathpoint, mahadevgad point must visited places. No word to explain the beauty of amboli ghat n waterfall in rainy season. Sawantwadi is just 30 km away from amboli its famous for wooden toys other wooden items.

This place and the view from here extremely beautiful and scenic. Plus if you are in this place during the monsoons its just out of the world experience. At 12 noon there was a visibility of 0.1 meters to drive. I could not take a single pic even with the advanced SLR with lenses and filters. A definite must visit... More

I love visiting here during the rains, since all the waterfalls are gushing with water. Accommodation is limited here, small hotels, but relatively clean. Best/Only... More

The place is awesome with lust green forest, scenic valleys, amazing waterfalls, clouds all around and heavy rainfall. We stayed at JRD International. It is a big but poorly maintained... More

Amboli is just 60 kms from Belgaum (my hometown). it is a small village on the top of the sayadhari range and being on the important route that connects konkan to the other side of the mountains is a important. It's the route British built and was used to attack Portuguese. The Ghat that winds down the mountains is 16... More
